Our large apartment, ca. 120 m² is on the ground floor of a 2 family house, with a very silent location and wonderful view upon the valley. It has 2 bedrooms: the big bedroom has a double bed and a camp bed, the small one has 2 single beds. The large living room has a comfortable seating corner, TV, stereo system, DVD player, many books and society games. The kitchen with dining corner is equipped with electric stove, baking oven, refrigerator, dish washer, microwaves, electric kettle, coffee machine, egg cooker and toaster. The bathroom has a shower, a WC, a bathing tub and a washing machine. A winter garden, a large terrace with garden furniture, sun shades and grill belong to the apartment. The big garden (lawn) can be used for relaxation and games. 2 parking places are also available. You can make many trips in the neighbourhood.

Wennenkamp is located in the region Schaumburg, directly at the border with Nordrhein-Westfalen. It is ca. 7 km away from the University City of Rinteln, on the Weser River, with a wonderful historical center, and ca. 20 km from the Pied Piper city of Hameln. Wennenkamp is a silent, contemplative place, in the middle of Weser highland, but it is also central. In a short time, you can reach Hessisch Oldendorf, with its newly discovered stalactite cave, or Detmold, ca. 35 km away, with the Herman Monument and the ‘Exter’ stones. Even the city Bodenwerder is not far away. The beautiful landscape invites you to walk and hike. There are many possibilities for bathing and swimming, i.e. an outdoor pool in Rinteln, the Doktorsee Lake in the close neighbourhood, or Stemmersee Lake. There you can also water ski. Here, in the middle of the Weser highland, you can enjoy the silence.

If you are looking for somewhere thats clean, friendly and fantastically located look no futher than this property. We were amazed by the size and cleanliness of this apartment and suggest that the photos do not do it justice. Well equipped and with beautiful views it proved the most wonderful setting for our holiday in this fantastic region. We cannot recommend it highly enough.

This apartment is situated in an idyllic location with stunning views over this beautiful part of the Weser Highland. The owners, Manfred and Regina, were the ideal hosts,friendly and helpful in every way.The apartment was perfect for a family and well equipped with everything you need,well maintained and very very clean. For travellers seeking peace and quiet this is ideal and the wildlife is on your doorstep as you sit on the terrace. It is ideally situated to visit all local attractions such as Hameln(Pied Piper) and the lovely Schloss Buckeburg nearby. I would certainly recommend this property to anyone and will certainly be returning in the future.

Super urlaub in ein Grosses Haus mit alles was mann zu hause hat anwesend ist. Und vor allem RUHE. Vermieter sehr net, behilfsam und freundlich.

Wir (Mutter, Oma, 2 Kinder - 10 + 13 Jahre) haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Man hat einen tollen Blick von der schönen, großen Terasse. Unsere Angst, es könnte wegen der Straße laut sein, war unbegründet, denn es ist eine Sackgasse, die nur von anl. Bauern genutz wird.
Die Vermieter sind sehr nett.
Man gelangt in das Bad durch das gr. Schlafzimmer.
