The Villa is situated in a quiet neighbourhood only 10 walking minutes form the train station of Locarno. There is also enough parking space. Inside, the Villa is dominated by a majestic stairway. The Rooms are held in a romantic-gothic style and draw out by impressive room heights, high-quality materials and the particular fine work. The house is equipped with 3 modern showers/toilets. The new kitchen is provided with glass ceramic stove, refrigerator, fridge, microwave, washing-up machine and all remaining kitchen needs. Rooms and living rooms are equipped with new furniture inclusive TV.

Notes to the rental rates

• For stays of 2 weeks: Out of Season: CHF 3600 (aprox 3000 $), Main season: CHF 4200 (aprox 3700 $). For long-term tenants special conditions can be granted after arrangement. Additional information to the fees: Please consider: The lease takes place, if you transfer 40% of the rent within 10 days to the account indicated in the confirmation, otherwise the booked time is again released. The balance payment must take place until 30 days before your journey. If the reservation takes place less than 45 days before arrival, then the whole amount is due within 10 days. Expenses for electricity and heating are included in the fee. Additional expenses come for: tax in accordance with municipality, final cleaning CHF 250 (aprox 200 $). For bed linen and towels we calculate CHF 25 (approx 20 $) per person. The rent is to be paid in CHF.

There are many excursions possibilities around and on the Lago Maggiore. We also recommend further trips: The Valley of Maggia offers picturesque villages with stone houses, many hiking routes and attractive riverside beaches. The valley of Verzaska is world-famous for its wild river, which has eaten itself into the stone, the perfekt place for sunbathing in the afternoons. The city Bellinzona with its medieval fortifications belongs to the Unesco world cultural heritage. Locarno is the ideal starting point for Shopping. Beside the many shops in Locarno, Ascona with its famous lake promenade, innumerable fashion shops and art galleries is only 5 minutes from the Villa Locarno. With a 30-minutigen drive one arrives at the Shopping Malls of Lugano or the legendary market of Luino on the opposite side of the Lago. A one-hour travel leads into the north Italian fashion metropolis Milan.

The Villa Locarno well linked up with public traffic means: The nearby airports of Lugano (35min) and Milan Malpensa (50min). The station of Locarno with its connections to Zurich and Lugano is only 10 walking minutes away from the Villa. The parking space in front of the villa also makes a journey with the own car possible.

Skiing Information:

Above Locarno is Cardada/Cimetta, a small skiing area with 4 elevators (1400 to 1670m). *** Within one hour of running time one reaches San Bernardino, 8 elevators, 35km runway up to 2500m height.

Golf Information:

Visit the gulf club Patriziale in Ascona, an outstandingly maintained 18-hole-course. Restaurant, pro Shop, baths, everything in highest quality. Handycap 32. With the car approx. 5 min. starting from Villa Locarno. *** A new 18-hole-course, golf Gerre outside from Losone. A very interesting Course with much water in front of a great alpine panorama. Handycap 36. To reach with the car also in approx. 5 min. *** Exercise area and 6 short holes at the Lido of Locarno. No registration necessarily. ***
