Our little mountain farm at 1850 metres above sea level is situated in the beautiful and remote Langtaufers valley. This high-lying valley close to the borders of Switzerland and Austria stretches from the Reschen lake far up to the glaciers of Weißkugel Mountain. We feel indeed privileged to be living in a true paradise, and would be very happy to share it with you. We would like to see you spend the holiday that makes your dreams of beautiful nature, outdoor activities and total relaxation come true. The good mountain climate will care for your wellbeing outside, and our apartment shall provide for the same good feel inside: it has been built only with natural materials to give you the all over comfort, and even allergy sufferers will be able to breathe smoothly. Our apartment has been rated with 3 flowers.

Langtaufers is a high-lying valley of about 9 km (healthy climate). There are several hamlets along the valley, the nearest village is Graun (Curon) at about 7km distance with a couple of shops. Graun lies by the Reschen lake close to the Austrian and Swiss borders (Reschenpass and Ofenpass or Norbertshöhe). Villages worth a visit close by: Mals (Malles), Glurns (Glorenza), St. Johann in Taufers. Meran can be reached by car or train in about 1.30h, Bolzano in 2h.

Winter sports: There are 4 skiing resorts in direct neighbourhood as well as a cross-country skiing piste on the door step; ice skating and ice sailing is possible on Reschen lake; mushers come here for training and a race in December.

Culture: Throughout Val Venosta there are numerous sight seeing destinations such as for examle the monastary of St. Johann in Taufers - treasured by UNESCO.

Ski: There are 4 skiing resorts (Maseben, Schöneben, Haider Alm, Nauders) in direct neighbourhood for all levels, children and grown ups.

Wir waren nun zum 3. Mal bei den beiden herzlichen und liebevollen Gastgebern Yvonne und Richard. 2 Mal im Sommer und nun zum ersten Mal in Winter. Wir erlebten ein wahres Wintermärchen, bei dem sowohl Skifahrer als auch Winterwanderer und Langläufer voll auf ihre Kosten kamen..
Die Wohnungen sind auf höchstem Standard und diese einzigartige Strohbauweisen vermittelt eine unbeschreibliche Gemütlichkeit. Die Wohnungen sind perfekt eingerichtet und wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Wir hatten immer unbeschreibliche und erholsame Aufenthalte in einer tollen Berglandschaft
