1 bedroom with en-suite, plus sofa bed in lounge area overlooking south downs

Self contained annexe adjoins owner's home with separate entrance. Situated in a semi-rural location in quiet country lane, just 8 miles form Brighton. Within less than 15 min walk to Hurspierpoint village offering local shops and all amenities, including 3 pubs, and 4 restaurants. The property is easily accessible for walking on the south downs and a 10 min walk from Hassocks golf course.

The accommodation is comprised of a double bedroom with en-suite shower room, a modern fitted kitchen with open plan living/dining area. Guests have a separate garden and patio area for al fresco dining. The property is set in 5 acres of woodland and paddocks.

Gas central heating with additional gas log-effect stove in living area. Electric cooker and hob, microwave, fridge, colour TV. Bed linen and towels provided. Parking for 1-2 cars. Welcome pack, includes bread, milk, fruit, tea, coffee, wine etc. Sorry no smoking and no pets.

Travel cot available.

It does not get any better than this!

A wonderful cottage in a superb English country location. From the moment we walked in it felt like home. Hosts Pam & David are so helpful and friendly. Their hospitality is exceptional. We enjoyed our stay immensely. This property and the service has set a new benchmark for us against which we will judge future cottage stays.

While in a quiet country location (fields full of wildlife) there is much to see and do. Pam & David have a great knowledge of the area and can be relied upon for good advice. The small Village of Hassock has everything you need for day to day living.

The railway station at Hassock is on the main line between, Brighton, Gatwick Airport and London Victoria. We took the train to London for a day out. If was so easy and fast.

We would have no hesitation in recommending this property to family and friends. We will definitely stay here again if the opportunity ever arises.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway
