The property is part of the old village school, built by the former owner of the castle of Unterdiessen, Graf von Schenk, in 1818. The property has its own separate entrance and is designed as a 'house within a house'. It was integrated into the existing shell of the building according to environment-friendly building principles a few years ago. The almost 200-year-old hand-hewn original beams have been exposed throughout. The rooms are spread over several levels or galleries, giving the house a very unique character. The child-friendly property is approx. 120 m², and sleeps up to 9 persons. Parking spaces are available for 2 cars, one under cover. The property has 3 bedrooms plus sofa-bed on the gallery. The living room is open-plan. The kitchen is well equipped and comfortably seats up to 10 persons, with space for children's high-chair. 1 bathroom, 1 shower (on request) & WC.

Unterdiessen is a small village with a grocery store and baker's. A restaurant and traditional Bavarian inn with beer garden are also within easy walking distance. Unterdiessen is situated in Bavaria, on the edge of the so-called 'Pfaffenwinkel' region with its numerous baroque churches, monasteries and historical towns. It is only 4 k to the River Lech, and Ammersee, Starnberger See and the Alps are all easily reached. The region has something for everyone: Ammersee or Bad Wörishofen with its spa, Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Germany's highest mountain, the Zugspitze, or King Ludwig's castles, and the famous Wieskirche. Kids will enjoy daytrips to the nearby Skyline Park and Legoland. The property itself is situated on the southern edge of the village of Unterdiessen, right next to a cycle path and with direct access to woodland and cross-country trails which make for ideal walking or jogging. Riding stables are also in the village.

Das Domizil ViaClaudia in Unterdießen ist genau das Richtige für Urlauber, die Ruhe und Erholung suchen und sich bewusst für einen Aufenthalt in ländlicher und etwas abgelegener Umgebung entscheiden. Das Ferienhaus ist ideal für Paare, für Familien mit etwas größeren Kindern oder auch für kleine Gruppen (max. 6 Personen), die das besondere Ambiente dieses Hauses schätzen, das mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet ist. Fenster auf Fußbodenhöhe sind nicht alltäglich und geben ungewohnte Ausblicke. Durch die offene Bauweise über insgesamt 4 Ebenen, ist die Wohnung luftig und lichtdurchflutet und wirkt insgesamt sehr großzügig. Hier kann man sich wohl fühlen und die Seele baumeln lassen. Besonders schön ist auch der zur Ferienwohnung gehörende separate Gartenanteil. Wer es liebt, morgens von Vogelgezwitscher und Glockengeläut geweckt zu werden und wer es genießt, weit ab von hektischer Betriebsamkeit neue Kraft zu tanken, der ist hier richtig.

Die Region um Unterdießen bietet eine herrliche Natur und ist bestens geeignet zum Wandern und Radfahren, aber bietet natürlich auch jede Menge Möglichkeiten für lohnende Tagesausflüge.
