The house is centrally located in the village right across from the church from the 13th century. It is 200 m² and has a 1000 m² fenced-in garden with lawn and trees. The house was renovated in the Saintonge style. Ground floor: 1 eat-in kitchen, 1 large living room with video and stereo system, 1 small salon w/fireplace. Top floor: 2 bedrooms with double beds (140 cm), 2 bedrooms with single beds (120 cm), 1 bathroom w/tub. The village of Saint-Thomas de Conac is 6 km from Gironde, 35 km from Royan and 80 km from Bordeaux, in the middle of vineyards. It has about 700 residents. The church and old wind mill create the village picture. A riding stable, public tennis court, outdoor pool and football field are for recreational activities. There are natural beaches in Meschers, Saint-Georges-de-Didonne and Royan. There are several shops and a pub in the village. There are many trails to hike on as well.

The village of Saint-Thomas de Conac is 6 km from Gironde, 45km from Royan and 80km from Bordeaux, in the middle of vineyards. The Atlantic has many things to offer for holiday and recreation, like boating trips, fishing, water sports. Saint-Georges-de-Didonne, Saint-Palais-sur-Mer, la Grande-Côte, la Côte Sauvage are all very beautiful beaches. The Gironde, as the largest embouchure in Europe, is definitely worth a visit if you like nature, water, flora and fauna and especially the 'Pôle-Nature' of Vitrezay. The architecture is varied in the region. In addition to Roman churches in small villages, castles in Pons and Jonzac, the fortress of Blayes and the Old Roman construction in Saintes makes Royan the ideal type of modern city. Wine growing distinguishes the landscape. Cognac and Pineau are considered specialities from the region. You can visit the most famous wine growing areas like Saint-Emilion, Fronsac, Pomerol and Entre-Deux-Mers during day-trips.
