Relax in a peaceful countryside

Julie and Klaus Schlebusch would like to welcome you as our holiday guests. Julie is English and she run a restaurant in England with European ambience. With lots of care and view for detail, Julie provides for you a second home for the time of your stay. Klaus is German. He is responsible for all business matters. Coming back from extensive business travels he enjoys doing the gardening. Our regular guests appreciate in particular our high standards in cleanliness. The holiday flat is situated on the first floor under the eves. There is a kitchen with table and chairs, sitting room, toilet and shower, washing machine and 2 bedrooms with one single bed in each room. Enjoy and relax for a while the peaceful surrounding and also our personnel attention. There is one car park available. Furthermore we provide garden furniture and bicycles with no extra costs. All usages are done on your own risks.

Wintermoor -belonging to Schneverdingen- is one of the countrified villages and lies approx 8 km north of Schneverdingen ( bus connection ). Bicycle and walking ways start right on our doorstep. There is a little train station (2,5 km) and it takes about 50 minutes to main train station in Hamburg. There is also a small shop (2,5 km) where you will find a quite good selection and also your 'Sunday-morning-bred-rolls'. Further shopping is in Schneverdingen. In Wintermoor with its approx 400 residents there is very few street lighting available. That is why we recommend you to bring torches. It is basically quiet in Wintermoor and Saturday may be the busiest day with people cutting the lawn etc. Many guest say, that they had to get used to the fact, that here is not much else to hear than a tractor, an occasional car coming by or some singing birds. We recommend driving carefully around here, as deer or wild boar might jump in front of your car.

  • All prices are inclusive for 2 people, towels, bed linen, energy- and waste expenses, cleaning at end of rental period, 2 bicycles, garden house, outdoor grill, garden furniture, car park for one car; cure taxes are not charged for, as Wintermoor is outside Schneverdingen.
  • To be enabled to hand over a clean and proper holiday flat to our guests, we request for: arrival time not before 3 pm, departure time until 10 am.

Days out / Entertainment

There is lots to see and explore = Heidepark Soltau, Ralf Schumacher Cart Bahn in Bispingen, Birdpark Walsrode, Serengeti Park in Hodenhagen, SnowDome in Bispingen. There are the Hanse- Towns Hamburg and Lübeck and much more. Or just enjoy extensive walks or bicycle tours or Nordic walking throughout the heather landscape.

For town people

Within approx 50 minutes by train or by car you can be in the centre of Hamburg. Here you find everything = shopping, musicals, city tours nightclubs on the Reeperbahn, concerts. There is always something going on in Hamburg. If you buy the 'Niedersachsenticket' at the train station, you will save on money for parking as well as for petrol. Also you are able to move around within Hamburg to your hearts content. You can reach Bremen or Hannover in a good hour. Take a look at the towns Celle and Lüneburg, both very much worth while seeing.

Northsea, Baltic Sea

Within approx 1,5 hours you reach Kiel, Lübeck or Travemünde. There is no fresher fish than buying it directly from the trawler. Have a stroll at Timmendorfer Strand.

Other Activities SnowDome and gocart course, both in Bispingen

End of 2006 the SnowDome in Bispingen - Europes most up to date indoor ski - was opened. Have a look if you like.
