The quiet location in this Nature Reserve enables you to spend a stress free, relaxing vacation. There are many games available for your children. The accommodation is suitable for children and seniors the whole year through. The Villa Park Makkumerstrand has best location, directly on the IJssel Sea shore, not far from the small historical town of Makkum. The Villa Park is located on the sand beach of the leisure park ‘de Holle Poarte’, which offers unique leisure activities.

The Villa Park Makkumerstrand has best location, directly on the Ijssel Sea shore, not far from the small historical town of Makkum. The Villa Park is located on the sand beach of the leisure park ‘de Holle Poarte’, which offers unique leisure activities. The new boulevard, the promenade with its small shops, numerous restaurants, the ‘Pyramids’ with supermarket are a few of the features of this small fishermen town you will immediately fall in love with. Near Schleuse, you will find Hotel Prins, one of the oldest mariner’s bars at the IJssel Sea, which is worth a visit also thanks to its wall tiling. In Makkum, there is the oldest still working ceramic plant in the Netherlands: „Koninklijke Tichelaar”, from the year 1594. It is world-famous for its ceramic gloss. The Villa Park Makkumerstrand belongs to ‘De Holle Poarte’ recreation area and offers many possibilities for water sports.

Notes to the rental rates

  • There is a discount of 20 % on the rental rates for children under the age of 5 and for seniors over 55. For a 14-day booking you also receive a discount of 20 % on the rental rates. Outside of the high season, there is a 30 % discount on the rental rate for a booking of 21 days or more. Children/ senior discount cannot be combined with the 14/ 21 days discount. Prices for the weekend (Friday until Monday) or weekly rentals (Monday to Friday) are possible upon request.
  • Additional costs: the final cleaning tax is 50 Euros or 64 Euros if you own a pet (obligatory). The linen cost 7 Euros per person (obligatory). The tourist tax is 1.75 Euro per person and per night (obligatory). For your pet we will charge a flat rate of 4 Euros. The other usual booking fees are not due in our case.

On the estate around the vacation house, you can fish without a permit. Bring your fishing equipment and see what the IJssel Sea has to offer.

Landing stage

A landing stage belongs to the house so that you can park you boat just near your accommodation. A playground is also available. The channels are 0.5 m deep which enables you to take your boat to the sea. The house has 2 parking places so that you can park your trailer by the house as well.

Entertainment for children

Villa Park offers a lot of playground for children. There is also bike and boat rental, as well as several open areas for mini golf, football, volleyball or basketball. As the area of Villa Park is separated from Schrankenanlge by the public transportation, the street is also suitable for smaller guests who want to skate, in-line skate or ride their bikes.
