The rooms are furnished in a rural style, with wooden furniture out of native trees. The washrooms are tiled with washbasin and shower, the toiletts are separate. Coloured satelite tv are obvious, phone as well. The terrace or balcony invites you to relax with a terrific glance and rural silence.

Many ways lead to Fischen. If you go by car it is simple to take the motorway A7 til the junction named Allgäu. Turn right and take the way A980 in direction to Lindau. Approximate 3 miles afterwards leave the 'Autobahn' and follow the country road B19 to Oberstdorf. You will pass Sonthofen, the main town of our district Oberallgäu and cross Fischen, where two traffic lights take care. About 50 meters behind the second trafic light you turn right and drive a small road up to a little but steep hill. If you pass the Hotel Tanneck you are already in the village Maderhalm where our guest house is the fourth on the right hand side. Certainly, they are best connections by train, from large or important towns in Germany, as well. Threetimes an hour, the train stops at the station in Fischen, right in the centre. Give a notice about your time for arrival and we arrange a taxi-service to pick you up.

Ski: 5 Skicentres are in the region of the Hörnergruppe with just one id-card. Two ski lifts are directly, about 300 meters away, especially for our kids. Not far, there are pretentious slopes, where somthimes skiing competitions for the German Championship or even World-Cup-Races take place. To be absolutely sure to find enough snow for skiing will be pleased to stay in Balderschwang or Grasgehren where you will enjoy winterdreamings until the late springtime.

Golf: The new created golf ressort, with two 18-whole and one 9-whole shortground is just about 2 kilometers away. The second Bavarian golfarea in size let beat golfers heart higher. Ten further golfgrounds are in the extension of about 180 kilometers.
