Casa Marmota is situated at the Costa de la Luz, between Cádiz and Tarifa in a rural environment, but just 5 minutes drive into the town of Chiclana with its many restaurants. Casa Marmota is situated in a fantastic location in Chiclana, on the Costa de la Luz (the coast of light). Chiclana is a typical Andalusian small town although in July and August it turns into a more active place, because of the holiday makers, who appreciate the splendid beaches as well as the culturally interesting. It is only 3 km from the town centre of Chiclana, located in a quiet, rural setting close to a National Reserve. You can take long walks or cycle through this area. It is just 7 km from Casa Marmota to the famous, miles long, beach of La Barrosa and to the quiet, natural beaches of Sancti Petri (blue flags). The sophisticated resort of Novo Sancti Petri which boasts a championship golf course is also just a few minutes away. You have plenty of big supermarkets on the way to Casa Marmota where the locals shop at good prices.
