Our 90 m² large apartment is large and painted in warm colours. It gives the impression of openness thanks to its high, angular ceiling. On the 15 m² veranda, there is a 6-seat dining table, and enough room for you to read on the recliner. The view upon your own garden seats with pool and exotic flora invites you to swim or to just relax. The living room has an integrated, well equipped kitchen, with a round dining table, situated next to 2 windows. The stereo system and the TV set have a satellite antenna with English, German and Swiss programs. The bedrooms are large, the beds are stable and they have orthopaedic mattresses. In the built-in closet there is enough storage room. The terra cotta tiles are warm yellow. The closets have cherry wood colours. The final cleaning and the linen change takes place once a week and it is for free. You only need to bring your own beach towels.

Kissonerga, on the western coast of Cyprus is characterized by banana trees plantations, olive and lemon groves, lush, exotic flora and a wonderful view upon the sea. Here you can find friendly people, clear, clean sea waters and beautiful beaches, 340 sunny days a year and comfortable taverns, shopping facilities and of course, the daily sunset over the sea. Kissonerga is an ideal starting point for day-trips. The vacation apartment is located in a quarter with 1 family houses, in the village. The apartment has a quiet location, 100 m up the main street, in a side dead-end street. The beach is 800 m away and it can be reached on foot, on a side street. The well known Coral Bay is 5 km north-west. A few kilometres further, the Akamas peninsula, the biggest nature reserve in Cyprus, unfolds its large, isolated and deserted beaches. The surroundings offer you many possibilities to undertake sport or cultural activities.

This is an open-air Opera performance, in the port of Paphos. The picturesque setting of the Paphos Castle is unique. The Opera singers and the Orchestra are of the most refined quality. This festival is a big highlight in our beautiful city. The list of the performances: 2006 Un ballo in Maschera by Verdi, 2005 La Traviata by Verdi, 2004 Rigoletto by Verdi, 2003 Tosca by Puccini, 2002 Turandot by Puccini, 2001 Nabucco by Verdi, 2000 Carmen by George Bizet, and 1999 Aida by Verdi.

Überwintern in Kissonerga!

Nach 7 Jahren Überwinterung auf Lanzarote war nunmehr diese Zeit auf Zypern vom 04.12.08 bis 05.03.09 ein voller Erfolg. Die Ferienwohnung entsprach genau den Online-Angaben sowohl bezüglich der Lage als auch der Ausstattung und hat daher unsere Erwartungen voll erfüllt. Es war alles sehr sauber, gepflegt und liebevoll eingerichtet.
Wir fühlten uns von unseren Vermietern Gabi und Nicolas sehr gut betreut.
Alle unserer vielen Fragen bezüglich Umgebung und Unternehmungen wurden immer freundlich beantwortet und man war uns immer sehr behilflich.
Wir haben dieses Haus bereits Freunden weiterempfohlen.
Man konnte sehr viel unternehmen, sei es stundenlang wandern, mit dem Leihwagen Ausflüge in’s Troodosgebirge oder die Insel erkunden. Viele sehenswerte Ziele sind auch bequem mit dem Bus zu erreichen.
2 Restaurants waren im Ort die auch geöffnet hatten über den Winter. Ansonsten waren in dieser Zeit viele Hotels und Restaurants in der näheren Umgebung, am Strand und in Paphos selber geschlossen, was jedoch nicht unbedingt von Nachteil war.
Wir waren mit unserer Überwinterung rundherum zufrieden.
