However, the location is so central that you can reach a lot of tourist attractions on foot. And you can very quickly reach other highlights further away with very good transportation connections. But you can also discover the lively district alone, the romance of the canals, surrounded by chestnut trees and fishers, with its small pedestrian bridges and its locks, the sociable bistros and the stunning boutiques.

Within just about 2 kilometres you will find: Notre Dame, the Louvre, the Hotel de Ville, the Bastille, the Marais district, Montmartre, les Halles, the celebrity cemetery "Pere Lachaise". All of this can be reached on foot if you are not too tired. Other solution: in just a 5 minute walk you will be very centrally located in the Place de la République. It is very well connected to the Parisian transportation network through Métro and 5 bus lines so that you can get to nearly all attractions in Paris within a maximum of 15 minutes. The RER (fast train) can be reached from the station "Chatelet Les Halles" or the "Gare du Nord". The connection to the airports and train stations is also very good.
