Garmisch-Partenkirchen holiday apartment: Kaltenbrunn

The pictures shown don't do justice to how adorable and homely this apartment is. We stayed with our 2 young kids for 2 nights and did not want to leave. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. The apartment was very very clean and nicely decorated, beautiful hard wood floors. The bathroom is very roomy and we loved the walk in shower! My kids had plenty of room for play and they enjoyed every bit of it, even playing outside right off the patio in the clean and lovely garden they have there. As adults we enjoyed sharing wine on the patio with the mountains to watch, the view was so lovely! The apartment is right off a main road so I was concerned it may keep us and the kids up, but when we were inside it was very quiet! we all slept extremely well! I Highly recommend this apartment, especially to families. Plenty of space, and very very cozy!! I feel I cannot say enough about it. The apartment is about 10 minutes from downtown but it was no inconvenience as it gave us the chance to see what was on the other side of Garmisch this trip as last time we stayed at Eidelweiss. If you dont mind walking there is a wonderful pathway that takes you into town and to the Olympic center and several other attractions. The apartment had a great supply of brochures for our convenience which gave us the chance to do things we didn't realize was around there, it was awesome!
