Sleeps up to 15. 4 bedroom secluded XVIIIth century watermill with swimming pool and large garden bordered by the river Sasse. Further bedroom with 7 beds in separate building ('cabanon') for younger guests. 3 km from charming old village of Valernes and 10 km from Sisteron. This charming provençal house, a fully refurbished watermill, was built shortly before the French Revolution; it has no directly visible neighbours. The river Sasse runs in the back of the garden. Its large terrace is located under a huge sycamore tree providing shade in the hot summer days. The house has been renovated and provides all modern comfort. A separate stone building, the 'cabanon', provides a bedroom with 7 beds, ideal for kids or teenagers. From the house, you have a wonderful view on the Montagne de Lure, the Rocher de Gache and the River Sasse. No direct neighbours to be seen or heard! Enjoy the quietness of this secluded location. Or make as much noise as you wish: there will be no one to hear you!

Wir waren vom 10.5.- 31.5.08 im Paradies, einfach herrlich
für die Kinder wunderbar, sie waren aus dem beheizten Pool nicht mehr rauszukriegen, mit bis zu 15 Personen
mit etwas Rücksichtnahme und kluger Ablauforganisation
kein Problem, Service ausgezeichnet, abends die Kamin-
stunden unvergeßlich, außerdem zum Grillfan geworden, kein Wunder bei dieser Ausstattung, Die Fürsorge des
Vermieters ist besonders zu erwähnen, die Anbindung an
alle möglichen Freizeitaktivitäten ist excellent

Von A-Z einfach ein perfekter Urlaub. Wir waren zu acht (davon 4 Kinder 2 - 6 jährig) und unsere Kinder haben ein grosses Abenteuer erleben dürfen. In der Mühle und der Umgebung gibt es so vieles zu entdecken. Der Park ist gross genug um Golf zu spielen! Und für uns war es Erholung pur. Zudem wurden wir herzlich empfangen mit bereits vorhandenem Abendessen und Wein. Wie unser Vorredner empfehlen ich auch eher nicht mehr als 8 P., das Nebenhaus ist recht feucht und eignet sich höchstens für Teenies. Wer gerne ans Meer reist: Fahrtzeit recht lang, ca. 1h20min. Wunderschöner Markt in Forcalquier (Fahrtzeit 40min). Markttage der Umgebung sind am Kühlschank angeschlagen.
Owner's Response: Wie wir selber erfahren dürften in Juli dieses Jahres, ist es indertat notwendig geworden, nach ein besonderen nassen Winter 2008/09, der Cabanon zu renovieren, was für Herbst 2009 geplant ist. Es wird aber für nur Juchendlichen geeignet bleiben und wir empfehlen nicht kleine Kindern (unter 6 Jahren) oder Erwachsenen im Cabanon zu unterbringen.

Absolute Spitzenklasse, die Beschreibung entspricht voll der Realität, alles sehr gepflegt und sauber. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war äußerst zuvorkommend, die Abwicklung sehr korrekt. Als besondere und sehr geschätzte Aufmerksamkeit, stand bei unserer Ankunft ein Abendessen und ein guter Wein bereit.
Die Anlage ist bestens geeignet für Familien mit Kindern. Die Kinder erwartet unbegrenzte Ferien- und Abenteuerfreuden.
Das Objekt sollte jedoch, abhängig vom Anspruch, nicht mit mehr als 6-7 Personen belegt werden, da neben einem wunderschönen Bad mit Badewanne, nur eine Dusche zur Verfügung steht.
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Domizil wärmsten empfehlen.
