This is a newly built house with 2 levels, surrounded by woods. It has stone arches, fire place and traditional furniture in traditional style. It was planned by the owner Christina who is an architect, and it has 2 levels, with a terrace for each floor. It accommodates 2-3 persons, and it has its own terrace, 1 bedroom (double bed) on 1st floor and a sofa bed in the salon. The kitchen is completely equipped. There is a dining table and chairs for 4 people. Video & DVD system are also at your disposal. Lounge with sofa-bed, towels and bed linen are provided. The barbeque-terrace, the armchairs and the swimming pool are to be shared. The landscape with mountains, green fields, olive trees and vineyards all around is fantastic. The house is very close to a wide selection of beach. We will welcome you with a bottle of local wine, coffee-milk and fruits on the day of your arrival.

The landscape is fantastic. There are white mounatins and green fields, olive trees and vineyards all around. This is an ideal place for people interested in nature, relaxation, exercise, nutrition with pure ecological products, taste and delight, entertainment, communication with the locals, and time for recollection. The beaches can be reached within by crossing a magnificent olive and cypress forest. They are 3 km away and we recommend you to rent a car.

Almirida has 2 sandy Blue Flag marked beached. The smaller one is in the western part, and the curving beach is in the east. The eastern part is particularly safe for young children. Both beaches have loungers and sun shades for rent. You can also hire wind surfers and sailing boats for day trips around the peninsula. A well-known windsurfing beach is located on the western beach. The villages around offer a variety of interesting places and they have a lot of history to reveal. It is ideal for the mature guests looking for peace and tranquillity.

There are several taverns, restaurants and coffee bars in the center of Vamos, where you can try traditional food, or have a coffee. (We suggest ‘I Sterna tou Bloumosifi’ for its Cretan cuisine.) If you want to go out for a drink during the night, you should try Almirida, Kalives or the Chania old Town (about half an hour by car). In Vamos, there is also a post office, a bank, the Greek Phone Company, police station, drug store, a 24 hour health center and many small shops.
