Wir waren für eine Woche in der Toskana und haben das Appartement als Ausgangspunkt für Besichtigungen in und um San Quirico d'Orcia genutzt. Die Ausstattung des Objektes war genauso wie beschrieben, das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmte. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und hat uns mit frischen Köstlichkeiten aus ihrem Garten verwöhnt. Besonders gefallen hat uns der Blick von der kleinen Terrasse über den traumhaften Kakteengarten ins Umland. Wir können Il Colombaio uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Traumhaft, herzlich, wunderschön!

Wir waren waehrend der Osterfeiertage zu Gast auf Il Colombaio.
Wir wurden sehr herzlich aufgenommen und immer mit Leckereien aus Garten und Kueche versorgt. Die Signora hat sich ruehrend um uns gekuemmert und wir fuehlten uns vom ersten Moment an zu Hause.
Il Colombaio liegt wunderschoen, nahe des schoenen Ortes San Quirico. Auch die anderen beruehmten Orte der Toskana sind in kurzer Zeit erreichbar. Von der Terrasse hat man einen uneingeschräaenkten Blick auf Montalcino und geht man einige Minuten über den Huegel liegt Pienza vor einem.
Wir wurden wieder mal von der Bilderbuch-Toskana verzaubert und wissen bereits jetzt, wo wir unseren naechsten Urlaub verbringen.
Il Colombaio hat fuer alle was zu bieten. Man kann entspannen und die Aussicht geniessen. Es ist ein toller Ausgangspunkt, um die Toskana zu Fuss, mit dem Fahrrad (vorhanden) oder mit dem Auto zu erkunden. Und nach Siena sind es auch nur 40 Minuten.
Wir kommen wieder.
