Photos and Description of this Riparbella holiday chateau / country house

The one family house has a panoramic location in the Riparbella community, only 11 km from the beaches of the Etruscan coast. The large property is partially covered by olive trees. The garden that surrounds the house is well kept and you can enjoy the wonderful view upon the sea. You will be enthusiastic about the 75 m² large house for 4 people. It was renovated 2 years ago. We tried to preserve as many elements of the typical Tuscan structure as possible, such as: the terra cotta floors, the beam ceiling and the stone facade. From the 20 m² large terrace you can get directly into the eat-in kitchen, which is directly connected with the living room. The walled kitchenette has a dish washer. The comfortable lounge in the living area invites you to enjoy yourself by the fireplace. There are 2 bedrooms with double beds. There is a large bathroom with shower and WC/bidet, and a guests’ bathroom.

The nice, specific village Riparbella with a historical center is located about 35 km west from Volterra in a hilly region (215 m), up from the Etruscan Riviera, in a charming landscape with chestnut woods, vineyards and olive groves. With its idyllic location between hills, streams and woods, and with the pleasant climate, the village offers relaxation and long walking paths in an untouched nature. In the Riparbella locality, you can find all you need: restaurants, small typical shops, natural products from the region, such as Tuscan wines, olive oil, fresh vegetables and fruit. The atmosphere of the village is very familiar, and the locals are very friendly. A tennis court is available. There are around 14 km to the sea and to the beaches of Cecina Mare. Very interesting would be a visit in the environmental center “Il Giardino”, with guided tours and nature trails with themes such as faunistics and botany.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Additional costs such as electricity, water and gas are included in the rental rates. The final cleaning is 40 Euros. Possible heating costs will be calculated directly on location, according to usage. Linen can be rented for a price of 8 Euros per person and per change, and towels can be rented for 7 Euros per person and per change (normally they are changed on a weekly basis). Travel cancellation expenses insurance is not included in the rental rate. We recommend you to conclude this type of insurance. For bookings that take place maximum 10 days before the arrival (last minute), we charge accord a 10 % discount.
  • The owners of dogs do not have to give up on their pets. Even dogs are welcome, but we will charge you a one-time tax of 30 Euros for them.

Super tolles Haus in schönster Umgebung. Zum Ort ist es zu Fuss etwas weit, aber dafür wohnt man in herrlichster Ruhe. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Menschen im Ort waren alle super freundlich und nett, auch ohne Sprachkenntnisse sind die Menschen sehr zuvorkommend gewesen.
Wir können das Haus nur empfehlen.

Das Haus ist absolut zu empfehlen, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr ruhige Lage, traumhafter Blick von der Terrasse. Die Zufahrt ist etwas "off-road", aber problemlos :-)
Unsere Kinder (5+8) waren begeistert, in der Umgebung gab's immer was zu entdecken.
Zum nächsten Strand (sehr schöner Naturstrand südlich von Cecina) brauchten wir ca. 20...25 min mit dem Auto, dann noch ein kurzer Weg durch den Pinienwald, schon ist man am Sandstrand (der ist komplett kostenlos - Parken, Strand, ...)
In den beiden Tante-Emma-Läden in Riparbella, der Bäckerei und Metzgerei macht das Einkaufen Spaß, die Leute sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
