Your vacation home “Haus Agnes” offers you 2 modern, comfortable, 4 star non-smoking vacation apartments – each with a living room, dining corner, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, shower/WC with sauna and guest WC. Both apartments have central heating and are vented. The ground floor apartment (apartment 1) has a patio and is wheelchair accessible. The top floor apartment (apartment 2) has a balcony. In the basement there is a separate storage room for each apartment where bikes and skiing/hiking equipment can be stored. The house has a big backyard. One parking space per apartment available.

Vacation apartment 1 is located on the ground floor of the house and has 3 rooms, a kitchen, a dining corner, a bathroom, a separate WC and patio. It has a living space of 86 m² and is fully equipped with 4 sleeping accommodations (2 in both bedrooms), living and dining areas and kitchen. The bathroom is equipped with a Klafs Smart Sauna. This apartment is wheelchair accessible. The central heating provides for heat and you can get fresh air through the central ventilation system. For your entertainment you will have a color television, a radio and a DVD player. A small multimedia library with DVDs, books and games makes the offer that much better. Garden furniture is available for the patio and the large garden. In the basement you will find a separate, lockable room for bikes and hiking/skiing equipment.

Malborn is a city with about 1500 residents located on the Hunsrück and is located near Erbeskopf – the highest elevation in Rhineland-Palatinate (818m). From the holiday location, you will have access to hiking and skiing regions, bike tours through the region, tours to the gemstone center in and around Idar-Oberstein (about 30 km) with museums, gem stone grinding shops and historic mines. The Mosel region from Trier to Trittenheim, Neumagen / Drohn, Piesport to Bernkastel-Kues (about 20-40 km) invite you to go for a walk through their stunning landscape and famous vineyards. Trier – the oldest city in Germany – is well worth a daily excursion (about 40 km). Visit the Porta Nigra, the cathedral, the Kaiser spas and the amphitheater. Get to know the Celtic/Roman past of other locations in Hunsrück. Visit the Celtic burg and graves, the exhibition Belginum and nature trails. Have fun!

Additional information about rental rates

  • All prices include sales tax. The price per night is in regards to a booking with 4 people and can be reduced for a booking with fewer people (up to 2 people) at 5 € per reduced person and night. There is a non-recurring payment of 30 EUR to be paid for utility costs and final cleaning. Included in the price is a set of bed sheets and towels (2 small towels and 1 large) per person as well as all consumption (water, electricity, heating).
  • Payment conditions: at the contractual completion of a booking, the guest will receive written confirmation of the booking. You will have to pay a down payment for 20 % of the rental price within 14 days. The rest of the payment is to be made at latest 2 weeks before arrival.

Wir haben in der Ferienwohnung alles vorgefunden, wie es beschrieben war. Die Wohnung ist super gepflegt und alles top in Ordnung. Der Vermieter hat auf sämtliche Anfragen unsererseits sofort reagiert - gute Kommunikation. Am Ferienort gibt es einen Hausverwalter/in, die die Gäste sehr nett willkommen heißen. Man kann in der Umgebung von Malborn sehr gut wandern, Wintersportler können auch auf ihre Kosten kommen. In näherer Umgebung gibt es sehr viele schöne Museen, die auch für Kinder geeignet sind. Leider waren die Museen in Hermeskeil im März fast alle noch geschlossen. Lohnenswert ist auch die Stadt Trier zu besichtigen. Wir haben leider eine ganze Menge nicht geschafft, daher werden wir wohl noch einmal in den Hunsrück fahren.
