In a nice, comfortable woodhouse with enough room for 4 people you start your day with a comprehensive breakfast, sitting on your own wooden balcony. Or do you like more to experience nature in the morning at a walk or doing your exercises? No problem at all, here you will enjoy nature and the atmosphere of the forest surrounding and the idyllic footpathes.

You will have a 50 sq m big, separate, nicely equipped woodhouse with a great garden and a new big balcony. The house has 2 bathrooms each with a doublebed. In the living room with the open built-in kitchen you can eighter sit in one of the modern, nice sofas or at the table with 5 chairs. The kitchen is equipped with dish washer, refrigerator, electric stove, mixer, coffee machine, toaster, etc. There is a TV. There is room enough for wet and dirty cloth in the entrance area. The modern bath has got a nice shower, a washbasin and a toilet. There is garden furniture in the open air.

Schlossau is located on a cliff in the middle of the Bavarian Wood, surrounded by woods and crossed by the river 'Schlossauer Ohe', which meanders around the cliff. The property offers the ideal combination of peace and relaxation, with many leisure activities within close vicinity. You can hike, jog, and bike. You are also allowed to fish and haunt on the property. In the winter, you can play curling stone, skate or enjoy the landscape from a sleigh. The skiing regions 'Rusel' or 'Geisskopf' are only 15 minutes away and offer the Alpine skiers many slopes with different levels of difficulty. Cross-country skiing on well-marked cross-country runs is also possible on 'Rusel' or in Bischofsmais, a beautiful Lower Bavarian town, 10 minutes away. On 'Arber' and on 'Bretterschachten', there are further fantastic skiing possibilities.

Additional information about rental rates

  • The price is for 2 people, every additional person costs EUR 9 /night. The visitor’s tax is 1.30 Euros per adult and per night and 0.50 Euros per child between the age of 6 - 16 and per night. Using the Whirlpool costs once 50 Euros. This price includes: water, wood, electricity and the cleaning.
  • The final cleaning is 45 Euros. The linen made of 3 parts and the towels are in the house prepared for you. Cots can be ordered, upon request (for 10 Euros). If you own a dog, it will cost 6 Euros per night and after the 10th day your animal is our guest.
  • The payment should take place after the booking confirmation. The balance has to be paid 10 days before the arrival.

  • A whirlpool out of wood, which you need to head by yourself with wood is there for your own usage only. The Whirlpool has got light and bubble efects. An incredible experiance - you are sitting in this whirlpool and you are enjoing the sunset or the birds singing,... Relaxing! The sauna can be used by all guest (costs: 3 Euros/ 30 minutes). It is located in the very close guest house (200 m). Big towels are availible and the room of rest invites to stay and to relax.

Entspannung und Abschalten vom Alltag garantiert

Leider waren wir nur für 5 Tage da - aber es waren 5 Tage Relaxen pur. Ein sehr freundliches Willkommen und toller Service. Die Hütte ist sehr gepflegt, urgemütlich, umfangreich und perfekt ausgestattet. Idyllisch gelegen und das Richtige, um einfach mal die Seele baumeln zu lassen und den stressigen Alltag zu vergessen. Sehr empfehlenswert wenn man auf ständige Animation verzichten kann und Ruhe und Natur genießen möchte - ideal für eine Auszeit!
Die nähere und weitere Umgebung biete viele Möglichkeiten erwas zu unternehmen.
Wir können einen Urlaub hier nur weiterempfehlen und waren sicherlich nicht das letzte Mal da.

Herzlicher Empfang, Preis-Leistung hervorragend, Hütte urgemütlich. Wandern von der Tür aus, Landschaft traumhaft, auch für Hunde ein Paradies.Wir kommen wieder, versprochen!

Saubere,gemütlich eingerichtete Hütte mit modernem Bad, dazu der selbst zu heizende Badebottich, in dem abends sich erholt werden kann, Brötchendienst inklusive. Was will man mehr?

Ein paar herrlich erholsame Tage im Forstgut!

Nachdem wir, höchst neugierig aufgrund der Beschreibungen und Bilder aus dem Internet, das Forstgut im bayerischen Wald erreicht haben, waren wir sehr positiv überrascht. Das idyllische und sauber gepflegte Forstgut liegt gut erschlossen nahe einer Straße, so dass man beliebte Ausflugsziele (wie z.B. das "Haus der Wildnis" im Tierfreigelände) mit dem Auto schnell erreicht, oder direkt vom Forstgut aus wunderschöne Spaziergänge machen kann und dennoch ist es herrlich ruhig. Die Hütte und das darum liegende Gelände waren sehr gepflegt. Die Hütte (besonders die Küche) ist, so wie vom Anbieter versprochen, mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und fühlten uns sofort wohl in unserem Feriendomizil. Das absolute Highlight war für uns der Badebottich - abgeschirmt von den anderen Hütten, unter freiem Himmel (Sternenhimmel!!) konnten wir in ihm so richtig entspannen. Ein zusätzliches Plus der Unterkunft sind der Bröchenservice (jeden Morgen frische Brötchen direkt an die Hütte - auch Sonntags!) der gemauerte Grill und die wunderschöne Holzterrasse mit zwei Liegestühlen! Auch mit Kindern ist diese Unterkunft gut geeignet, da der Gartenbereich komplett umzäunt ist und man so die Kinder spielen lassen kann, während man selbst ein kühles Bier im Liegestuhl auf der Terrasse genießt:-). Es lohnt sich also auch einen Tag einfach mal "Zuhause" zu bleiben und die Vorteile der Unterkunft zu genießen! Wir waren also bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal da und haben das Forstgut auch in unserem Bekannten- und Freundeskreis weiter empfohlen.

Eine landschaftlich wunderschön und ruhig gelegene Holzhütte, mit allem Komfort, den man sich wünscht. Vor allem der Holzbottich hat uns so begeistert, dass wir gleich für 2009 wieder gebucht haben. Sehr gepflegtes Anwesen und gastfreundliche Vermieter, denen das Wohlbefinden ihrer Gäste am Herzen liegt. Ideal für einen erholsamen Urlaub mit Hund. Auch unserem Bernhardiner hat es sehr gut gefallen. Die Umgebung bietet vielseitige Freizeitmöglichkeiten. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
