Would book again.

We were three girls travelling together from August 30/08-September 06/08. We chose this rental due to its proximity to another family we were vacationing with. It turned out to be absolutely fabulous.

As mentioned, the villa is about 1000 meters to the water - and I suppose they do mean to say "down" to the water. It's a bit of a hike, but we chose to do it back and forth to town or to the beach at least once, if not twice per day. Once we figured out the shortest way it was about a 10-15 minute walk each way (down and then up!).

The villa was very well equipped - it had everthing we needed. There is one large bedroom with a queen bed, dresser and armoire and a single bed was also set up for us. There was also an option to sleep on the pull-out in the living area.

The kitchen had what seemed like all new appliances - there was also a new clothes washer as well.

The bathroom was a decent size, but I have to say it never got used for showering! They have a wonderful outdoor shower, surrounded by stone, and very private. It was fabulous.

There is lots of room for a rental car.

The outside space is very nice and quite private. There is a good sized patio and eating area with an outdoor sink and BBQ. All sides of the villa have space to sit and read whether you're looking for sun or shade.

I would certainly recommend this rental to my friends and family. It was a great choice, made easier with the help of TripAdvisor.

The owners are as close as you want them. They're happy to offer suggestions and share a glass of wine, but otherwise you really don't see them.

The villa is fairly close to a number of great restaurants and cafes. Just as close to the beach (where you really need to rent a chair for the day!) A larger grocery store is a little further and may be best to get back from with a cab at least for your first (and heaviest) trip.

A truly great stay.

Himmlische Ruhe in paradiesischem Garten

Wir waren mit unseren beidn Kindern im Mai 2008 im Casa Salvo zu Gast. Trotz des schlechten Wetters hatten wir einen wunderschönen Urlaub auf dem weitläufigen parkähnlichen Anwesen und dem dazugehörigen Ferienhaus. Wir waren ganz scnell weg von der Hektik des Alltags und haben die Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit gefunden, die wir gesucht haben. Die Vermieter haben uns sehr herzlich begrüßt und waren sehr sympatisch und hilfsbereit.
Die beiden großen Boxerhunde, die das Grundstück bewachen, sind sehr lieb und kinderfreundlich und unsere beiden Kinder wollten gar nicht mehr gehen. Auch die Katzen waren für unsere (Stadt)-Kinder ein tolles Erlebnis.
Die ganze Anlage und das Haus sind in einem sehr gepflegten Zustand, die Küchenausstattung ist zweckmäßig und wir haben
Die Fusswege sind mitunter schon etwas steil und ohne Auto sollte man nicht anreisen, da die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten dann nur schlecht zu erreichen sind. Leider war der Starnd nicht besonders sauber (Vorsaison)und im Meer gab es Quallen.
Wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Aufenthalt.

Superschönes Haus in netter Umgebung

Wir haben hier eine sehr schöne und entspannte Woche verbracht. Das Haus ist in einem sehr guten Zustand, die Einrichtung zweckmäßig. Unsere Vermieter haben uns sehr freundlich empfangen, ihre beiden Hunde ebenfalls. Die Boxer (Mu-To) haben uns gerne Gesellschaft geleistet und wir haben es genossen, freudig begrüßt zu werden, wenn wir nach Hause kamen. Dabei waren sie aber nie aufdringlich.
Die Umgebung ist herrlich. Sehr schöne Landschaften, nette Leute, gutes Essen...einfach unbeschwert. Das Sportpgramm ist dabei gratis, denn man muß immer bergauf beim Heimweg. Dafür kann man aber eine Pizza mehr genießen...

Fein im Olivenhain

Sehr schön!!! Können uns den meisten Vorkritikern nur anschließen. Gute Ausstattung, gemütliche Liegen, 2 Außensitzplätze, Außendusche, Grill...
und natürlich Finn und Phaedra (hoffentlich richtig geschrieben), das Boxerpärchen, dass uns nach einer Woche so ans Herz gewachsen ist, dass wir gerne einen oder auch beide mitgenommen hätten (obwohl wir wegen der Hunde die Casa Salvo fast erst nicht gebucht hätten). Verschiedene Strände (Borga Foce ist am empfehlenswertesten) sind zu Fuß in max. 15 min zu erreichen. Kleinere Läden in 5 min. Alles ist sehr italienisch, insg. wenig (deutsche) Touristen, die Gastronomie preiswert und lecker. Die Altstadt außergewöhnlich nett. Bis Genua und Nizza je ca. 1h auf der Autostrada.
Wir werden bestimmt wiederkommen.

immer wieder gern...

Wir, beide Baujahr 1969, waren in der Zeit vom 16.05.-23.05.09 in der Casa Salvo zu Gast.
Auf dem weitläufig mit viel Liebe angelegten Anwesen und dem dazugehörigen Ferienhaus, haben wir die Ruhe und die Abgeschiedenheit gefunden die wir gesucht haben. Wie im Internet beschrieben haben wir die Örtlichkeit vorgefunden und uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Die sympatischen Vermieter haben uns sehr herzlich begrüßt und wir sind uns, obwohl wir auf einem Grundstück gelebt haben nur auf unseren Wunsch begegnet, die Privatsphäre war sehr angenehm. Die beiden Hunde, die das Grundstück bewachen, sind nicht aufdringlich und menschenfreundlich. Die ganze Anlage und das Haus sind in einem sehr gepflegten Zustand, die Ausstattung ist zweckmäßig und liebevoll.
Nach unserer Auffassung, ist die Stadt Imperia zu Fuss sehr angehem und leicht zu erreichen. Wir haben kurze Wege auch ohne Treppen gefunden. Alles in Allem hatten wir eine wunderschöne Zeit und unsere Erwartungen wurden weit übertroffen. Wir möchten uns auch auf diesem Weg bei den Vermietern bedanken und würden dieses kleine Paradies ruhigen Gewissens weiterempfehlen...
