The upgraded kitchen is typical open-plan with cherry wood cabinets and beautiful corian countertops. It comes with everything you could need such as ice maker/water dispenser, microwave and above-average kitchen equipment including an electric steamer/crock pot/set of professional knives. A large island provides plenty of preparation space for the chef. There is a dinner service for 12 people and seating for 6 people at our family's mahagony dining table. There is also a small office area with high-speed internet and extra lighting. The kitchen opens onto the den area where you can relax in our overstuffed sofa or in our rocking chair while watching the sun set over the pool and lake.
Living room & Pool area:
The living room is our media room and features a plush velvet sofa, 2 cozy armchairs and an entertainment center with a 32' TV, DVD player and surround sound stereo system. Choose a book from our bookcase or feel free to provide your own entertainment on our family piano! Once you have settled into our pool area and enjoyed the view of the sunset over the lake and golf course, you may never want to leave again. Our pool is a salt-water pool measuring 28'x14' and features a gorgeous spa for 6 people; all are fully heatable of course. There is seating/dining for 6 people around the pool and extra privacy is provided by recent landscaping of the pool area.
Extras:
The house is fully air-conditioned/heated with ceiling fans and curtains throughout. The utility room includes an XL washing machine, dryer, iron and additional clothes drying space. For your additional enjoyment/benefit we have added 2 mountain bikes, 1 child's bike, 2 full sets of golf clubs, tennis rackets, toddler gate, baby/toddler bed & linen, baby and toddler car seats, bouncy chair, pool toys and a hairdryer.
Golf:
The entire Bradenton/Sarasota area is simply a golfer's paradise. With dozens of championship courses within a 10 mile-radius, you could possibly play a different course every single day of your holiday! Heritage Harbour is a challenging Arthur Hills designed course that is open to the public and also features a beautiful driving range and putting green. Or you could try your luck at River Strand next door, the newest course in the area. A list of local golf courses with contact numbers can be found on the noticeboard at our home.
