The house encompasses 123 sq m living space on two levels. On the ground floor there is an open plan kitchen with modern fittings. The adjacent living and dining area with open fire, big window and sliding door offers a spectacular view to the lake and its surrounding nature. Through the large sliding door you enter a 30 sq m terrace with terracotta tiles, where you can enjoy the view while sunbathing. An outdoor shower in the beautiful garden setup is there for cooling down or after a bath in the lake. On the first floor there are 3 bedrooms, two of them (single bed, king size bed) have a mountain view. The spacious master bedroom with en-suite bath offers again a breathtaking view. Here, you will find a large balcony which is the ideal place for a 'sun downer' while watching the sunset over the lake. A dryer and a washing machine as well as a canoe can be found in the garage next to the kitchen.

It is home of the longest beach in South Africa (6 km).'The Lake' is part of the Goode Hope Nature Reserve & a bird sanctuary. Laying between two oceans the house is only 1.5 km away from the Atlantic Ocean & only 5 km away from the Indian Ocean & directly on the Lake Michelle. Driving by car to Downtown Cape town takes 25 minutes, to the Constantia vineries 15 minutes .The famous Chapman's Peak Drive is 1.5 km away, elegant shopping in Longbeach Mall is at 500 m distance from the house. Driving to Cape of Good Hope takes 30 minutes, to Boulder's beach with its penguins15 minutes. Noordhoek is a place for artists, horse riders & nature lovers who appreciate to be close to a beautiful metropolis. With its magnificent landscape, coffee shops, art and craft galleries Noordhoek is an attraction for tourists as well as for Capetownians.

A lot of possibilities for sport like horseback riding, swimming, surfing, sailing, diving, kayaking, mountain biking, hiking and tennis are all very close by. Downtown Cape town with all its points of interests is reachable in only 25 minutes by car. The Cape of Good Hope is only a half an hour drive away. Different horse stables offer horse back riding along the endless quiet beach. There are uncountable hiking trails for the hiker with stunning views on to the sea, bays, beaches and wine medows. The area is a paradise for wine lovers. Famous wine estates like Groot Constatia, Buitenverwachting etc. are reachable in a distance of 3 - 10 km and invite the guest to a wine tasting.

Ideal location: The place is suitable for families because of the large garden setup of the private security estate. Therefore, it is also very safe. There is a path for jogging. There is fishing in the lake. Swimming and canoeing is possible with our canoe. The beach is only 1.5 km apart. Downtown Cape town with all its points of interests is reachable in only 25 minutes by car. The Cape of Good Hope is only a half an hour drive away.
