A 7,000 m² property lying on a slope with two springs surrounds Casa Katja. The regional vegetation is supplemented by the well groomed garden area that has a different character in every direction and offers a lot of quiet and wind-protected 'favorite places': animated pond areas on different levels, blooming flowerbeds to the west, further down the slope a fountain with shaded benches. The offered vacation apartment makes up the second level of 'Casa Katja' and has its own separate entrance that can be reached through the patio. The apartment is dominated by an 80m² living room that will impress you through its spacious interior furnishings, breathtaking view and the comfortably equipped open kitchen. You can reach Casa Katja in less than a half hour drive from the Faro airport. You will not be staying in the tourist areas, but rather the destination is found in the first rises in the northern direction where sand and stone meet. From here you can look down to the Atlantic whose silvery shimmering sometimes appears to be unreal. The view to the west encompasses the soft, mountainous region; to the north you will see the small city of Loulé located before the mountains of the hinterland. You can reach many destinations using the well-built streets: in the east is Tavira - from there to Faro are about 40 km of sand that make up the endless beaches on the Atlantic; driving inland you will find the nature preserve Ria Formosa. West of Casa Katja you can find the world famous large and small bays that border the coast. You can reach 'your' place on the beach with a 20 minute drive - praised golfing facilities are found nearby.
