Unbeatable view

Date of Stay: October 2008
We stayed in a Type B with one bedroom, a loft with two twin beds, and a fold-out sleeper sofa. Accommodations were clean and roomy. The view of the lake and surroundings was fantastic. The kitchen was well-equipped, with a 3-eye cooktop, microwave, coffee maker, fridge and utensils. The TV is small and only has a few German stations and no English stations that I found, but I don't watch TV anyway. The staff was friendly and helpful (more proficient in German than in English). Pool is beautiful, but it was too cold for us to swim (Oct.), although a few hardy souls did anyway. Restaurant was also nice and the food was good, but we ate elsewhere except for one night. Walls a bit thin but we were probably noisier than anyone else with our two boys (ages 6 and 11). We thoroughly enjoyed Gardaland with the kids, and all of the nearby points were just beautiful. It was an entirely enjoyable stay and I look forward to doing it again. October was perfect - no crowds - but we were lucky with the weather.
