The country house Casa Elisa was completed in spring 2001 and lies approx. 6km outside Montaione in a sunny and wind-protected location. The house is surrounded by fruit gardens; on one side is also a meadow with a swimming pool, parasols and sun loungers. The guests can use a barbecue area and there is a washing machine (coin-operated) and parking at the house. The small road which passes the house approx. 30m away is little used, mainly only by holiday guests. A restaurant and small shop are around 300m away; further facilities in Montaione town.

Montaione, the perfect place to recuperate, to relax and to enjoy, or just to let your soul be carried away! This enchanting little town lies in the heart of Tuscany, snuggled in the middle of its three cultural capitals: Florence, Siena and Pisa. Just 12km from Castelfiorentino, it lies on the western edge of the Chianti area, on a hill with extensive views over vineyards, olive groves and the magnificent wooded countryside. In and around Montaione the visitor becomes acquainted with the simple lifestyle of the Italian countryside and can at the same time enjoy a wealth of culture and art in trips to the surrounding cities. In Montaione itself you should definitely take time to see the painting of the “Madonna with Child” in the 13th century church of San Regalo on the Piazza della Repubblica. Montaiones fantastic gastronomy with its delicious native dishes invite one to try ones own hand – the ingredients are available in the shops fronting onto the Piazza of Montaione.

Das Casa Elisa ist gut geeignet für einen ruhigen Urlaub in der Toskana. Die Ausstattung ist gut. Besonders die gute Anbindung nach Florenz und Siena ( in ca. 10 km Bahnstation ) verspricht viel Kultur. Auto ist allerdings nötig. Die Hausleute sind sehr engagiert und nett, sprechen allerdings nur italienisch.
