The architecturally significant rooftop apartment is over 100 m² large, is not too slanted and is very well lit. It was fitted with new furniture and a new interior. It is a very beautiful apartment, as most of our guests have confirmed. Quote 'I would really love to move in and stay there' It is a non-smoking house and no pets are allowed. 2 double bedrooms in the apartment. The modern kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, large refrigerator and two extra deep freeze compartments together with the extensive range of kitchen utensils allow you to cook to your hearts content. The dining area with its 180 cm long wooden table allows for entertaining guests with ease. The bathroom contains a shower and a bath. Parking and storage space for a car and bicycles provided. We would recommend that you bring a car because of all the exciting tour destinations nearby, however in view of the infrastructure of the village and the proximity of the village means that a car is not entirely necessary.

Ummendorf is located 3 miles from the town of Biberach/Riss. It is located on the B30 motorway and the exit is Biberach Sued (Coming in the direction of Ulm). The house is located on the outskirts of the village up on a height and allows you to have a view over the village and the Risstal valley. You can watch beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the kitchen and the bedroom respectively. It is comfortably quiet, and the bakery, butchers and supermarket are within walking distance. You can make walks and tours using the house as a base. The nearest golf courses are 20 minutes away. The Jordanbad health spa with thermal baths and saline baths is located just over a mile away. Ummendorf also has a very beautiful natural lake which you can swim in.

The Swabian baroque trail leads through Upper Swabia. The largest European marsh area is located in Bad Wurzach, inviting you to pursue some memorable hikes in the countryside. You can also explore smaller marshland areas in nearby in Ummendorf its surroundings. Apart from all this there are countless traditional festivals on offer, or you can simply let loose and discover the culture and nature of this interesting region.

This is a first class apartment which lived up to our best expectations. It is very well equipped, spacious, clean and comfortable. The owners, (who live in the house below), were most welcoming, kind and helpful. They not only provided extensive local tourist info in printed form but were glad to offer their personal advice.

Our family stayed here with a view to visiting Legoland and Lake Constance, both of which proved to be easily accessible, but we found there would have been lots more to see and do in this area of Upper Swabia had we had the time,

Ummendorf is a pleasant village with its own natural swimming lake, which we enjoyed. The village has a few shops where you can buy essential groceries, a couple of banks, and also a well-priced Pizzeria. The larger town of Biberach is very close by and had much more by way of supermarkets, restaurants and fast food.

Whilst our stay was relatively short, (just 4 days), we would highly recommend this property to anyone, and we would be happy to return here in the future.

Die wunderschöne und ruhige Lage am Ortsrand und trotzdem nur ein "Katzensprung" nach Biberach und die superschöne Ausstattung, mit allem was man auch zu Hause hat, macht diese Ferienwohnung zu etwas ganz Besonderen!
