'Santa Maria Villa & Merrill Apartments Melleiha' Review Rating: 5/5 Review Text: 'As I am in a wheelchair we were rather worried about the suitability of booking an apartment abroad but the owners assured us it would be ideal, and it was. The owners were so kind & helpful but not at all intrusive. The property was very clean and well maintained. On the one evening when we had a terrific rain storm and water flooded everywhere, they quickly cleaned up.Nothing was too much trouble for them. The apartments are in a lively town but set back from the hustle 'n' bustle so you get a peaceful nights sleep. There are so many places to see & things to do that after such a great holiday in 2006 we returned in 2007 to the Merrill Apartments. The owners are so caring and helpful, the apartments clean and bright, the weather superb, the locals so friendly, the food's great and plenty to do and see IF you've got transport or just laze on the beach: what more do you want

Skiing Information:

Germany: 2 weeks in September 2008' we have stayed for two weeks at this apartment in September 2008. The owner was very friedly and helpful. The organization and communication was fantastic. Thanks !! Pick up from the airport, car rental was all perfect organized.Regardig the accommodation: It was clean and big enough to stay there with three people (Two seperte bedroms, one with an additional toilet). Also the pool area was nice to get a cooling after a warm day. The area was beautiful and quite enough to get relaxed. Even if you wanted to have a party you had to go into the town with it´s several bars. The beach at Melieh was sandy, clean and not over crowded. Think that depends on the reason.All required shops can be found in the area nearby, bakery, butcher, fish shop, patistery, supermarket.Generlly al the prices were fair, also within the restaurants which were not bad. A car is definitively needed all the time.Sure to come back in some years.Tanks again for a great holiday.

We offer airport pick ups and car hires. Mellieha car rental (fully comprehensive insured) can also be arranged. Wide variety of cars, and 8 seater vans. Automatic and air conditioned. Please ask for a quote. Malta International airport (Gudja) is 25km. Nearest ferry port Valletta 25km Ferry to Gozo or Comino at 6km.
