These well maintained apartments are situated in one of the most tranquil areas of Mellieha known as Santa Maria Estate, surrounding with residential villas. Most of these apartments enjoys open views, and includes sharing swimming pool with all facilities. All are fully equipped for a self catering holiday with either twin or double beds, kitchen with dining /lounge area and bathroom or shower safe box, washing machine ,Spacious front/back balconies with garden furniture provided. B.B. Q. can be arranged individually. Managed by the owners themselves. Members of Malta Tourism Authority.

The complex has now been comfortably fitted with an elevator / lift facility

Nearest Airport : Malta International airport Guja at 25 Kilometres
Nearest Beach : beach at 2 Kilometres

Mellieha Village is an excellent place to stay for holidays in Malta, since it is located in the north of Malta, one can easily go to Gozo or Comino. Whilst towards the other side, one can visit St.Julians and Sliema for further nightlife and entertainment. Crossing over from Mellieha to Gozo is easy and would just require a 5 to 10 minute drive to the Gozo Channel car ferry terminal. From Mellieha to St.Julians would take approx 30 minutes drive and buses are also available frequently during the day till late (in the summer months) . The north of Malta is also ideal due to being relatively closer to larger sandy beaches, apart from its own beach in Mellieha Bay. Nearby beaches are Golden Bay and Ghajn tuffieha which are also popular beautiful beaches.

The Village feast of Mellieha is on the 8th of September, that reminds the locals and tourists of some of the most important historic events from the glorious history of Malta

The house is right for young people

The house is right for young people to go shopping because it takes 10 minutes on foot, but if you rent un''auto is not a problem, the same Joseph is available to help to find one. "La casa è pulita, spaziosa e in una zona tranquilla.Il proprietario è gentile e disponibile. La casa è più adatta a giovani perchè per fare la spesa ci vogliono 10 minuti a piedi, ma se si noleggia un''auto non è un problema,lo stesso Joseph è disponibile ad aiutare per trovarne una. La piscina è un vero gioiellino. Andate sicuri..."

the apartment was fairly basic, nice and clean. There is a good working lift. The pool is clean and well maintained. The surrounding area is quiet and residential, you will need transport to get to shops etc. Melliehas main street has some nice places to eat, the Bay is sandy but very crowded, would recommend Golden Bay area instead for a beach.
The owner was helpful and friendly but not interfering. I would use this accomodation again if the price stayed reasonable.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children
