Our inviting vacation house is a very quiet, lovely restored Rustico, with an inner yard, in the small mountain village of Bestagno. It has 2 large terraces with wood furniture, 2 bedrooms and 1 living/bedroom (sleeper sofa). The large dining room with fireplace and exclusive equipment invites you to enjoy yourself. In the kitchen you will find modern technology and a rustic BBQ oven. A large bathroom/WC and more rooms with a washing machine and dishwasher round off the offer. Dogs are welcome. Through the well-kept olive grove you can go 4 km to Pontedassio with all shopping facilities. From there it is about 6 km to the sea. Breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and the Ligurian coast can be experienced during hikes or biking tours. The Ligurian mountain area, the Piemonte, the French Riviera, the Provence and the Sea Alsp offer countless options for day excursions. Stunning restaurants nearby.

Bestagno, with its 300 residents, is a district above Pontedassio and is located in the middle of countless olive groves at about 400 m above sea level. On the one hand, peace and seclusion of a Ligurian mountain village, on the other side the large variety of recreation options - this forms the best base for a beautiful and diverse holiday throughout the year. The nearby options for hiking and biking allow for breathtaking views of the Ligurian coast and the mountain world in the back country. Shopping facilities are in Pontedassio and in nearby Imperia. In the harbour of Oneglia there are stunning fish restaurants and the back country with its mountain villages offers a variety of typical dishes in cozy inns. Through well built coastal streets you can comfortably reach the coastal citiy of Genua and the Cinque Terre for a day excursion, along with the noble Monte Carlo or Nice.

Additional information about rental rates

  • In addition to the rental prices, there is a one-time cleaning fee of € 50 and a security deposit of € 100. The security deposit is to be paid in cash upon arrival to tour house management in Bestagno and will be reimbursed immediately if the apartment is in a proper condition. Bedsheets and towels should be brought with. During the shoulder season, there are additional utility costs for heating. These will be charged according to use.
  • We ask for a 20% deposit and a complete payment 5 weeks before arrival. You will get transfer information (account number, IBAN, SWIFT, bank) with the booking confirmation.

Ski information: The nearest ski lift Montesi is only about 1/2 hour away. The former world cup ski region of Limone Piemont can be reached in about 1.5 hours.

Golf- Information: Only 4 km from the sea and 5 km from the highway exit Arma di Taggia is the Castellaro Golf club, a tourist sport and residential complex with picturesque beauty. Castellaro is a 9 hole golf course with a lit driving range and club house that is located in the same center of the entire complex. Furthermore, the 18 hole courses in San Remo or Garlenga (Albenga) offer all option nearby.

We spent some wonderful weeks in Casa Musso, Bestagno! The house was even nicer than we expected and the view was breathtaking! Enjoying a good meal on the "lower" terrace and then watching the sun go down on the "roof-terrace" was fantastic. The house is very neat and clean and the inner-yard actually has it´s own orange tree!
The area has a lot to offer - nice little towns along the coast and old villages up in the mountains. Getting back to the house in Bestagno after a whole day in the busstle of the Riviera was very calming. Our teenagers visited us the last week and enjoyed the house and the environments.

Ein absolut schönes, mit Liebe eingerichtetes Haus

Hier kann man sich wirklich erholen. Das Haus, die Lage - es ist alles perfekt.
Für Hundebesitzer gibt es nichts Besseres. Ca 30m vom Haus entfernt läuft man durch nicht endende Olivenhaine - traumhaft.
Auch das Meer ist mit dem Auto relativ schnell erreichbar.
Die gesamte Gegend dort ist wunderschön.

Selbst mit 4 Erwachsenen und 3 Kindern war unser 2-wöchiger Urlaub im August in der Casa Musso uneingeschränkt wunderbar. Das Haus ist sehr schön und funktional eingerichtet.
Ein Einleben in den fremden Räumen war für uns gar nicht notwendig. Die Casa Musso hatte trotz "Urlaubsquartier" so etwas von "zu Hause". Die Lage ist auch ohne Meerblick traumhaft. Die beiden Terrassen, unsere Hauptaufenthaltsorte, konnten wir einfach für alles nutzen. Großartig.
Die Betreuung vor Ort ist völlig unkompliziert. Wir kommen wieder (wenn die Mücken verschwunden sind)!

Das Ferienhaus war super!! Wir waren sechs Personen und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Hier konnte man sich sehr entspannen, da es wirklich sehr ruhig war. Das Ferienhaus kann weiter empfohlen werden, da es auch sehr sauber war und alles stimmte. Spaziergänge im Dörfchen Bestagno oder ringsum sind auch zu empfehlen. Es ist zu beachten, dass der nächste Ort für Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ca. 5 km entfernt war, aber gestört hat es uns nicht.
