The natural and cultural heritage of the region is preserved on the estate of Selva dei Colli where the old farm house named Ciarloca is located. It is surrounded by olive trees, wine yards, and a hilly landscape. From the windows you can see both the close Adriatic Sea to the east and the Gran Sasso Mountains to the west. We have restored this old house, taking care of the surrounding nature and the local tradition. We are eager to welcome guests who are looking for freedom, peace and silence. We have done our best to avoid the 'dormitory style' and furnished our apartments to be cosy and roomy homes to stay in when the weather is rainy and dull.

The original barn of the old country house has high ceilings and the classical dividing brick walls. It is furnished with a sober homey touch, enabling a practical and easy life. Harmonious colours and contemporary paintings make the atmosphere for a relaxing holiday in this quiet, soothing land farm. A small porch with a sitting group invites you to have a drink outside. The apartment is on the ground floor and is suitable for physically impaired people.

The house of Ciarloca is situated in the Abruzzi region in central Italy and is easily reachable by the Autostrada A14 if you are coming from the north and with the Autostrada A24 if you are coming from Rome. This part of the peninsula is the undiscovered paradise of Italy, called the region of the 4 natural parks. High mountains and unspoiled nature with varied wildlife, long sandy beaches along the warm and kind Adriatic cost, lots of medieval churches, historical sites, and small towns clinging to the slopes. You can ski or walk on Mount Gran Sasso in the morning, and stroll along the beach in the evening of the same day. But the region offers also bigger cities with excellent shopping opportunities. The region of Teramo is famous for its hospitality and good restaurants.

Wir waren schon oft in Italien in Urlaub aber es war noch nie so schön wie dieses mal in Selva dei Colli.
Das Haus ist ein wahrer Traum es ist alles vorhanden was man sich wünscht, eingebettet in hunderte von alten Olivenbäumen steht es ganz allein auf weiter Flur, also Ruhe pur. Aber man hat es nicht weit zum Strand mit dem Auto in 10 Minuten. Der Strand ist Sauber und auch für kleine Kinder geeignet da er erst nach 200 Meter tiefer wird. Es war dere schönste Urlaub den wir je gemacht hatten alles war einfach perfekt.
Man kann auch zum Wandern gehen auf den Gran Sasso hier ist es schöner als bei uns in Bayern.
Auch die Leute sind freundlich vor allem in der Opelwerkstatt in Giullianova, als unser Auto streikte haben sie es wieder in Gang gesetzt ohne Berechnung.
Was könnte ich noch schöneres Schreiben als die Bemerkung das wir nächstes Jahr wieder hier Urlaub machen werden.
