New, spacious and modern furnished apartment, located in a very quiet and central location in Grainau. The apartment is for 2 to 4 persons and has a South oriented balcony (5 m²) with panoramic view over the Zugspitze, Waxenstein and Alpspitze. An additional, own cellar room (20 m²) is available for skis and bicycles. Separate WC. Only a few minutes by foot to trails, mountain bike routes, cross – country courses, swimming-pool, ice square and to the Bavarian aerial Zugspitztram (Zugspitzbahn). Parking space in the courtyard. High standard and modern furnishers with all the comfort. Fruit basket and a bottle of Champaign as a welcome gift. You will receive 2 tickets for the Grainauers´ Zugspitzbath salt water bath, sauna (per week), a sealed hiking map including a brochure with description of the 20 most beautiful hiking trips in this region, and a 10 % discount voucher for our mountain and ski sport service centre at the valley station of Alspitz and Kreuzeckbahn.

Grainau belongs to the most beautiful area of the Bavarian Alps, directly under the Zugspitze, the highest mountains of Germany and is located approximately 6 km Southwest of Germisch–Partenkirchen. The five areas of Grainau, distributed over an extensive park, are all connected by bus or the aerial Zugspitztram (Zugspitzbahn). The resort is an ideal base for winter or summer vacation. Grainau is almost fog free because of its climatically favorable situation and is recognized for its many relaxing and sports facilities. Nonetheless, owing to its strict constructing regulations, the villages´ rural character has been conserved until today. Gentle ascending and alpine hiking tracks are extended over 100 km through the mountains of the village of Zugspitze, from which 60 km are cleared during winter and offer perfect relaxation in fantastic backdrop. Grainau is the ideal base for several trips, e.g. to Munich, Innsbruck, to the famous kings´ Castles, Oberammergau, etc.

Wir haben hier mit unserer Tochter (* 12/2007) bereits das zweite Mal einen tollen Urlaub erlebt. Die Gastgeberfamilie ist äußerst zuvorkommend und freundlich; es blieben keine Wünsche offen. Wir freuen uns schon auf das nächste Mal!!
