La Lèbrerie is an old farmstead on its own, built from local stone with a court yard and a large garden, situated on the land of our biological farm. Near the main house there are 2 linden trees providing shade on sunny days. The house is in the true Périgourdin style and carefully furnished partly with local antique furniture. We let it according to the season and number of people, max 6, with 1 to 3 bedrooms, a large sitting come dining room with open fireplace, a spacious kitchen with breakfast area, 3 bathrooms, separate toilet and hall. The house has a central heating. Peace and calm are guaranteed. We are about 2 kilometres from the minor roads and tucked away amongst our 60 hectares of wood and pastures, where our Limousin brown cows graze with there calves.

The south eastern part of the Dordogne is known as the Black Périgord, probably due to its thick woods of dark oaks or maybe because of its black truffles. The beautiful landscape owns much of its beauty to the 2 rivers the Dordogne and the Vézère, whose valleys have yielded so many marvelous treasures, which are within 3o km of our property: the very well known painted cave Lascaux, the mediaeval town Sarlat, Les Eysies with its museum of Prehistory and painted and carved caves, calourful markets, music and theatre festivals, castles and roman churches all nestling in the countryside well known for its exceptional beauty.

Wunderschönes Anwesen in herrlicher Umgebung

Wir haben hier mit drei Erwachsenen und vier Kindern / Jugendlichen zwei sehr erholsame Ferienwochen verbracht und die wunderbare Lage des Hauses, den großen Garten (Frühstück und Abendessen unterm Lindenbaum) mit weitem Blick auf die auf- und die untergehende Sonne und die schöne, ländliche Umgebung sehr genossen. Die Vermieter sind sehr sympathisch, man bekommt Biofleisch aus eigener Produktion, wer möchte kann die Hühner hinterm Haus versorgen. Zum Einkaufen fährt man mit dem Auto oder mit dem Fahrrad (jeweils 10-15 Minuten). Die Gegend ist hervorragend für Farradtouren geeignet (kleine Landstraßen auf denen man kaum einem Auto begegnet), und es gibt viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten in der näheren und weiteren Umgebung.

Das traumhaft gelegene Haus ist umgeben von schönster Natur und bietet einen idealen Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen, Höhlenbesichtigungen, Kanufahrten, Badeausflüge etc. Es ist bestens ausgestattet und sehr schön eingerichtet. Unsere drei Kinder konnten sich frei bewegen und schwärmen immer noch von den geduldigen Tieren, die sie streicheln und umsorgen durften. Wir alle haben uns überaus wohl gefühlt und toll erholt, was nicht zuletzt an der Gastfreundschaft der Vermieter lag. Gerne kommen wir bald wieder!
