Photos and Description of this North Frisia holiday chateau / country house 5 people, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms

The thatched-roof farm from 1851 is located in the high north of Germany between fields and meadows. Upon entrance, you will immediately notice the lovely ordering of antique specialties and the antique furniture. The kitchen has a beam height of only 1.85 m, is cosy and has preserved its old character. Bordering the dining area and the living room with its cosy seats and fireplace oven. The 1st bedroom is equipped with a double canopy bed and has direct access to the bathroom with a bathtub. In the back of the house you will find the 'Klönstuv' which is equipped with a lot of games that can be used by the guests for long game nights. Through a small hallway you can get to an attractive shower/bath/WC with the fitness studio with modern devices and the bordering heated swimming area, sauna and solarium. On the 1st floor you will find the alcove bedroom (1 person) and a charming bedroom for 2 people.

Nearest Train: Klanxbüll at 1 Kilometres
Nearest Motorway: Flensburg/Harrislee at 27 Kilometres

Our cottage is located on a wharf in the middle of fields. The North Sea coast can be reached by bike in about 20 minutes, 10 minutes by car. However, you will not only find the beach like Sylt, but also the marsh, dikes & meadows. A nearby bird protection area invites you to hike & bike. Those who would like to swim in the sea should take the train to Sylt or go for an excursion to the Danish island of Romö. In a 20 minute drive you can get to Leck and you will find a relaxation water park & golf course. Klanxbüll itself offers a super market, a baker and a barbershop. Those who like shopping can do it in Niebüll - about a 15 minute drive (here you will find the car ferry to Sylt) or Flensburg - about 45 minutes by car. Even though the house offers everything for you to relax or stay fit, you should not forget to visit the island of Sylt with its special flair and healthy sea climate.
