Nice, newly renovated holiday apartment 8 min. on foot from the Vatican. Absolutely peaceful location, because the apartment is on a service road, thus, little traffic. The apartment with a/c & central heating with a beautiful view of the dome of the St. Peter's Basilica & the Vatican, is located on the 4th floor of a newer, well-kept building with an elevator. Self-catering. It is a one-room apartment (30 m²) with a completely equipped kitchenette, 4 sleeping accommodations, shower, bidet & WC. Balcony with large dining table & chairs. Cosy dining with a bottle of red wine while you can be amazed by the illuminated dome of the St. Peter's Basilica, a view over the roofs of Rome. Best transportation connections from the Stazione San Pietro-a 2 minute walk from the apartment - to the central train station & the airports. The important attractions like Engelsburg, P.Navona Pantheon can be reached on foot. Ideal for discovering the city. Internet point nearby.

Top location by the Vatican, the apartment is 800 m from St. Peter's Square, it is an 8 min. walk to the Vatican. Very peaceful location. The apartment is located on a service road. The location is optimal, most important attractions can be reached on foot, like the Vatican, Engelsburg and the Angle's bridge, Piazza Navona and Pantheon. 2 minute walk from the Stazione S. Pietro, the bus 64 leads you through the entire inner city past the Largo Argentina and Piazza Venezia/Colloseum to the main train station Termini. To the supermarket - also opened on Sundays - it is a 5 minute walk. Best connection also to the airports/train stations. If you arrive by car, there is a parking space in front of the house or a rental garage nearby. Those who would like to spend a day by the sea, for example in Santa Marinella-from Stazione S. Pietro by train towards Civitavecchia - about 25 minute drive. The beach is only 5 minutes from the train station, city centre of Marinella is very characteristic.

trotz unserer erheblichen verspätung wurde uns ein freundlicher empfang mit einer flasche rotwein bereitet.wir betraten ein gemütliches und sehr gepflegtes appartement mit einer küchenzeile welche zur zubereitung sowohl eines frühstücks als auch eines umfangreichen warmen essens bestens geeignet ist. der notwendige einkauf hierfür kann im großen sb-markt ca. 10 minuten entfernt erfolgen. die gewaltige kuppel des petersdoms bestimmt -ob tagsüber oder abends erleuchtet- den blick über den balkon.

die anbindung an das öffentliche verkehrsnetz könnte kaum besser sein: zum bahnhof des regionalzuges gingen wir 3 minuten. auf dem vorplatz und zugleich busendstation halten die stadtbusse der linie 64, welche alle 8 minuten zur anderen endstation, nämlich zum hauptbahnhof termini, fahren. eine anbindung an die metrostationen ist somit gegeben.

indem sich die vermieterin mehrfach per sms bei uns erkundigte, ob alles in ordnung sei, steigerte sie unser wohlbefinden und zeigte, dass wir uns als ihre gäste in guten händen befanden. deshalb gibt es von uns zur höchstpunktzahl noch einen extrapunkt .

Eine Woche Rom im Oktober

Wir waren in der Zeit vom 13. bis 20. Oktober 2009 das erste Mal hier in Rom und haben uns in der Ferienwohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Morgens und abends erfreuten wir uns an dem herrlichen Blick auf die Kuppel des Petersdoms. Die Wohnung ist sehr zentral gelegen und trotzdem ruhig. Sie ist sehr sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet und hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Die Betreuung war vorbildlich und die Tipps waren ausgezeichnet. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

4 Tage Rom - wir waren begeistert. Vor allem das Appartement war gemütlich und fern vom Trubel und Lärm der Stadt, da in einer Seitenstraße. Wir genossen nach unseren Touren die Ruhe und Kühle auf dem Balkon mit Blick auf die Kuppel vom Petersdom. Dabei waren es nur wenige Gehminuten zu den Bus- und Bahnverbindungen. Ebenso zum Supermarkt. Wir haben jedoch alles zu Fuß gemacht, denn auf dem Weg ins Zentrum gab es immer wieder viel zu entdecken und es liegt alles sehr nahe. Frau Hiller hat uns sehr nett empfangen und wir fühlten uns gleich gut aufgehoben. Wir wurden schon vor Antritt der Reise mit Tipps und Informationen versorgt. Dann noch der perfekte Service durch ihren Sohn Antonio, der uns vom Flughafen abholte und uns auch gut wieder zurückbrachte. Vielen Dank und sicher sehen wir uns wieder.

Einfach alles hat gestimmt; Angaben korrekt im Online-Inserat, Zustand, Sauberkeit, Ausrüstung des Domizils, Preis/Leistungsverhältnis etc. perfekt.
Vorbereitung und Ausführung des Mietvertrags ging schnell und problemlos.
Die Lage ist ideal und Verkehrsverbindungen mit öffentlichen Mittel hervorragend.
Als pensionierter Hoteldirektor muss ich sagen, dass die Betreung der Vermieterfamilie alle Leistungen von irgendeine Hotel übertrifft!
Ich würde dieses Domizil jederzeit an jeden weiterempfehlen.

5 Nächte Rom

Meine Frau und ich verbrachten eine Woche im August in Rom. Die Wohnung ist super Zenral gelegen und dennoch kein Verkehrslärm weil sie in einer Nebenstr. bzw. Sackgasse liegt. 300 m zur Busenthaltestelle und Bahnstation welche auch zum Flughafen geht.
Abends ein wunderschöner Blick vom Balkon auf den Petersdom. Es war kurz gesagt alles optimal auch die Betreuung der Vermieterin war aller Bestens.
Wir werden ganz sicher wieder kommen.
