Self catering holiday apartment situated in the the historic town of Buda only steps away from the Castle District. An oasis in a middle of big city. It’s tastefully furnished with loving care in every detail. The accommodation comprises of an entrance vestibule leading to a large-sized airy kitchen, separated toilet, bathroom with plastic tub. The kitchen has a dining table for 4 people fitted with gas-cooker, fridge-freezer, micro wave owen. The accommodation includes 2 double stylish bedrooms, parquet floors, chest of drawers, reading lamps. In the master bedroom there is a modern, comfortable two-seat sofa-bed and an LCD TV, DVD, Hifi system are provided for the comfort of the guests. The bedrooms are situated in the front of the building overlooking a quite staired street. This charming apartement provides superb holiday accommodation.

Castle Apartment by Vienna Gate takes its name from the adjacent entrance of the Castle of Buda. Very close to most important attractions such as Church Matthias and Royal Palace. Castle Hill and the Castle District are designated World Heritage Sites. There are three churches here, six museums, and a host of interesting buildings, streets and squares. The former Royal Palace is one of the symbols of Hungary – and has been the scene of battles and wars ever since the thirteenth century. The nearby Sándor Palace contains the offices and official residence of the President of Hungary. The seven-hundred year-old Matthias Church is one of the jewels of Budapest. Next to it is an equestrian statue of the first king of Hungary, King Saint Stephen, and behind that is the Fishermen’s Bastion, from where opens out a panoramic view of the whole city.

Wir waren mehr als zufrieden mit diesem Ferienappartement und hatten eine super Zeit in Budapest. Die Lage der Wohnung ist einfach ideal, da man nur ca. 10 Minuten bis zur Fischerbastei und den umliegenden Sehenswürdigkeiten und ungefähr die gleiche Zeit zur nächsten Metro-Station läuft, von der aus man in kürzester Zeit alle interessanten Stellen innerhalb von Budapest erreichen kann.

Die Einrichtung ist wunderschön mit all den Teakholzmöbeln, dem Himmelbett und dem liebevoll gestalteten Interieur. Dazu liegt die Wohnung herrlich ruhig, was man bei dieser zentralen Lage niemals vermuten würde.

An Küchenutensilien gibt es alles, was man sich nur wünschen kann - sogar eine Espressomaschine! ;-) Kurz und gut: Die schönste Ferienwohnung, die wir bisher gehabt haben.

Nicht zuletzt hat uns die freundliche Aufnahme unserer Vermieterin sehr sehr gefreut. Dass für unseren 8 Monate alten Sohn extra ein Babybett, Hochstühlchen, Babygeschirr und -besteck, Lätzchen und ein Kuscheltier angeschafft wurden, fanden wir wirklich rührend. So viel Kinderfreundlichkeit kann man vielerorts nur suchen!

Und für alle, die sich am Abend vom Sightseeing bei einem netten Filmchen erholen wollen, gibt es noch ein tolle Überraschung: Ein super LCD Fernseher mit DVD-Player und angeschlossener Stereoanlage! Super für Leute, die abends zuhause bleiben wollen oder müssen! ;-)

Ein ganz herzliches Dankeschön für diesen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in Budapest.

wir haben schon in vielen städten in ferienwohnungen gewohnt, aber noch nie so zentral und gleichzeitig so ruhig. die wohnung ist mit wunderschönen indischen möbeln ausgestattet, vor allem haben wir in dem himmelbett "himmlisch" geschlafen. es ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. die vermieterin ist ausgesprochen hilfreich und spricht fliessend deutsch.
wir hangelten uns von museum zum kaffeehaus zum museum zum kaffeehaus, es war soo schön!

Durchs Internet sind wir auf diese Ferienwohnung aufmerksam geworden - und es war alles genau so, wie dort beschrieben. Die Lage in der kleinen Treppengasse unterhalb des Burgviertels ist super zentral und absolut ruhig. Geschäfte, Restaurants und die U-Bahnstation sind in wenigen Gehminuten zu erreichen; ansonsten kann sowohl Buda als auch Pest von dort aus ganz leicht zu Fuß erkundet werden. Die Wohnung ist frisch renoviert und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir haben uns hier ausgesprochen wohl gefühlt, vor allem auch dank des überaus netten Empfangs und der sehr freundlichen Betreuung durch die Vermieterin, die perfekt deutsch spricht und insgesamt sehr hilfsbereit ist. Wir werden diese Wohnung ohne Abstriche sehr gerne weiter empfehlen.

Wir können dieses Appartement ruhigen Gewissens jedem empfehlen.
Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt, wozu außer der gemütlichen und sehr geschmackvollen Einrichtung ganz sicher auch die Gastfreundschaft der Vermieter beigetragen hat.
Bereits im Vorfeld wurden offene Fragen freundlich und unkompliziert per e-mail geklärt und die Begrüßung vor Ort war sehr herzlich.
Zur Erkundung der Stadt ist die Lage der Wohnung optimal, wir haben kein einziges Mal öffentliche Verkehrsmittel nutzen müssen.

Falls wir jemals wieder eine Unterkunft in Budapest brauchen, wird dies auf jeden Fall unsere erste Anlaufadresse sein.

Geschmackvoll, Ruhig, Zentral, was will man mehr!

Diese hübsche, geschmackvoll eingerichtete Appartment am Fuße des Burgenviertels liegt zentral und ist doch sehr ruhig. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind um die Ecke in wenigen Minuten erreicht. Was will man mehr um ein paar schöne Tage im aufregenden Budapest zu erleben.

Bedingungslos zu empfehlen!
