Historic St Ives:

St Ives first appeared in recorded history in the 5th Century when it was the landing place for St Ia bringing Christianity from Ireland. St Ives is thought to be an adaptation of her name. Today, St Ives’ long history is evident in the cobbled streets and the ancient granite quays in the harbour. Brilliant Holiday Lovely accomodation

lovely property modern clean and well furnished and set out. Central location 5 minutes from beach and high street shops. We had a very enjoyable stay and would definatly return to this property and st ives

Holiday at 1 Oceanis ( July 2010

The flat was modern and clean and had everything you could need for a comfortable stay in St Ives. The location was excellent and situated a five minute walk down some stairs to the start of St Ives High Street.. The garage is very tight to drive into and we would advice you hire or bring a small sized car. We had an Astra and this was fine.

Our only complaint was when we visited in July 2010 the shower door to the on suite bathroom had been broken and a temporary curtain put in place. This led to all the shower water spilling on to the floor requiring us to continually mop up the floor -not what you would expect for this price of accomodation!!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities
