Artland was widely known as the granary of the prince-bishopric of Osnabruck. Through floods of the river Hase, mineral rich deposits formed on the ground, which resulted in the basis of profitable agriculture and thus, for the current image with the representative farms and wood half-timbered constructions. There are a lot of recreational offers in the region, for an active holiday an for a relaxing holiday you will find a lot of options: cycling, the different cycling routes like the Geiebelour, play swing gold, horse riding, the horse and carriage museum, archery, visiting the museum village in Cloppenburg, rubber boat on the Hase, the special gastronomy on the old farm and the mill cafe 'Oma Plüsch'.

Das Haus ist sehr zu empfehlen. Es ist reichlich Platz vorhanden. Ohne Auto allerdings schlecht zu erreichen.
Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Super Bad. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und der Ofen ist anheimelnd. Für Fahrradfahrer ist das Artland wie geschaffen. Wir waren mit 7 Personen dort und haben uns rundherum wohl gefühlt.
