Golf:
Play golf in one of the most beautiful locations in the world (approximately 1.5 km away). Seefeld-Wildmoos is a gem among Alpine sites and is a member of leading Austrian golf courses. It was designed 38 years ago by the architect D. Harradine and laid out in harmony with this Alpine district. The view of the peaks and ranges of the Karwendel and Wetterstein mountains is breathtaking. In spite of the high location, almost 1300 m above sea level, the fairways and greens are of top quality. Golfers find unforgettable – and very photogenic – the steepness of the raised slopes above the low-lying fairways and greens with a fantastic view of the mountains behind. Details: 18-hole course PAR 72, length of play: ladies 5167 m, gentlemen 5894 m. Score rating: ladies 126, champion tees 133, gentlemen 121, champion tees 130. Prices in summer 2007: green fee € 47, weekly card (inc. golf academy) €320. For better golf and a nicer play, try the golf academy Seefeld (only 3 km away), where you will improve your game by playing. It doesn’t matter whether you are a beginner or a pro, or what your handicap is. Using scientific precision and under the direction of international golfing pros you’ll improve your stroke, swing and every skill you need in golf. The school organises golf lessons for individual players, groups or businesses. Prices and lessons on request.
