Casale Archi is a 'Tuscan dream' in the middle of the Chianti-area. The old stone house and its annex have been restored with love and know-how and the result is more than beautiful. The 2 independent houses are surrounded by a 8.000 m large and well kept garden with private pool (7x13 m). There is as well a Loggia and also a terrace with tables and seats and of course a barbecue, too. Parking on the property. The houses are optimal for a numerous/more family(s) or a group of friends who want to stay together. Nearly each of the 9 bedrooms has its own bathroom (2 x Jacuzzi) The large table in the dining room welcomes you to seat together. The living-room offers you a comfortable ambience with a beautiful arch in the middle, an impressive fireplace with sofas in front of and a frontage with numerous arch-windows. The two kitchens are equipped well and give you also the comfort of a dishwasher. The property invites you to have a lovely and relaxing holiday - you are welcome!

Badia Agnano is a nice village with shops, restaurant, post-office, farmacy, etc.. You will reach it within a few minutes by car. Next large supermarket 15 km. The house is situated in the middle between Siena and Arezzo (each approx. 30 km). To Florence it is 60 km to go (also by train). This part of the Chianti-area is called 'Colline Aretine' and it's quite near to the Chianti-Classico with its famous vineyards and the lovely landscape of Chianti shire. There are many small villages to discover - walking, biking or by car. Of course there are close to also most of the famous historical towns, such as Siena, Arezzo, Cortona, San Gimignano, Volterra, Pienza, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Florenz, Perugia, Assisi, Pisa and Lucca. You can reach them all between approx. 30 and 90 minutes by car. Very lovely is also the 'Val d'Orcia' with numerous small medieval villages and the 'Crete Senese' with the famous Abbey of 'Monte Oliveto Maggiore, it takes you only few time to go there.

We recently stayed at the property and loved every minute of it. The pool was amazing, the bbq area ideally placed near the kitchen and outdoor eating area, spacious rooms, well equiped and not too far from areas to visit or train stations to get to Florence (well worth a visit). Also close to a supermarket for provisions. Could do with a dvd player and the road leading to the house is a worn track used by the local farmers so don't speed down it. Would happily use again.

We stayed at this villa for a long weekend in November 2008 to celebrate a 60th birthday with a group of friends .It was perfect!
The house is very spacious, has fireside seating and dining facilities for 14. Often lacking. The owners are very welcoming and Marcella cooked us a delicous diner for a very reasonable price. Massimo organised wood for us and gave us a delicious bottle of their grappa.
The area is lovely and there is so much to see!!!!
A real gem.
