Start at the market square with the powerful town hall, climb the town hall tower, get a clear view of the city with its many small alleys and romantic angles and squares. From here you can go to the Ratstrinkstube and Georgsbrunnen. The St. Jakobs church with the altar from Tilman Riemenschneider, the imperial city and criminal museums are all worth visiting. The Christmas museum and Christmas village of Käthe Wohlfahrt bring us back to our childhood throughout the year. Do you want to see your vacation location from above? No problem, you can choose between a ride with a hot air balloon, with a glider or with a small sport airplane. If you ask enough in advance, you can purchase a glider license during your vacation from the aviation club in Rothenburg. If that is too high for you, you can also discover the area from atop a horse, there is a riding club in the neighboring city that also welcomes guests. For those who are athletic, there is also a tennis court, mini golf course and a skating area nearby. After a full day, you should visit our wonderful, Frankish country guest houses.
