The Maison Jaune is a comfortable, renovated village house that covers 2 floors and sleeps 4, and is located in the medieval centre of Lieuran Cabrières. The ground floor, in its sunny yellow tones, has a fully equipped open kitchen, a dining room with fireplace, and a living room with large sliding doors that open onto a private, flowered courtyard with garden furniture and barbecue. A bathroom (shower/toilet) and a storage room complete this floor. Upstairs you find two bedrooms, one with a balcony, a second bathroom (with bath; separate toilet), all with colourful traditional tile flooring. Should you wish to use the house as a quiet retreat (possible all year long with heating throughout the house), the second bedroom can be changed into a study with desk. At your arrival we will be there to greet you and offer further guidance to make your stay a success.

Lieuran Cabrières is a small, peaceful village set amid vineyards in the heart of the Hérault region. The area is perfectly suited for relaxing, walking, and biking. For swimming and water sports you find the spectacular surroundings of the nearby Lac du Salagou; and within 30 minutes you are on the sandy beaches of the Mediterranean – which offers also great seafood, esp. the famous oysters). The baker passes by daily. Clermont l’Hérault (at 5 min.) is a delightful market town for all your shopping needs and offers a bustling open market on Wednesday mornings (another great market in nearby Pézenas on Saturdays). From your holiday home you can easily explore many famous sights: Aigues-Mortes, the Camargue, Carcassonne, Cathar castles, roman ruins, and subterranean caves. Not to forget the wonderful local wine producers, and, of course, Montpellier, a lovely city that awaits your visit, to enjoy its culture, historic centre, shopping, or to sit on a terrace watching people go by.

  • Christmas [19 Dec. 2009 – 2 Jan. 2010] and Easter [27 Mar. – 10 Apil, 2010]: Middle season price. During winter season: extra electricity costs of € 0,10 /kWh. The house is available at 4 pm on the day of your arrival. We ask that you vacate the house at 10 am on the day of departure. A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the rental cost is due at time of reservation. The total amount including a security deposit of € 250 is due six weeks prior to arrival. Payment in full is required for any stay less than 6 weeks away. Cleaning: We ask you to leave the house in the same state of cleanliness and general order in which it was found. You may also opt for having the house cleaned at the end of your stay [€ 40,- ]. You are welcome to stay for a longer period; please ask us about prices.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist umfassend eingerichtet und gepflegt.
Anfahrtsbeschreibung ist sehr gut. Autobahnanschluss ist nicht weit entfernt.
