All Andalusia can be visited in one day trips: Gibraltar (25 minutes), Afrika (1 hour), Malaga (1 hour), Seville (2 hours 30 minutes), Cadiz (2 hours 30 minutes), Cordoba (2 hours 30 minutes), Granada (2 hours 15 minutes), Almeria (4 hours), Ronda (1 hour), Casares (15 minutes). Almeria: Moorish harbour, Europe’s only deserts, Little-Hollywood (Spagetti-Western!), Nature Park Cabo de Gata. Cadiz: Europe´s oldest city, Pearl of the Atlantic, conserves the Caribean atmosphere of Havana. Casares: cradle of the Andalusian identity founder Blas Infante and symbol of 'The White Villages of Andalusia”. Cordoba: famous mosque-cathedral with red-white arcades, an example of the melting of oriental and Christian- Western culture. Granada: last bastion of the Moors, Alhambra: declared World Patrimony by UNESCO (Spain’s most visited monument) - a must-see!

Marbella: gorgeous old city, famous sport harbour of Puerto Banus, Jet-Set of the 70´s, political scandals of the recent times. Nerja: impressive cave with the largest stalactites/ stalagmites of the world. Ronda: mountain-fort, famous bull-fight ring and museum, evergreen Sierra de Grazalema (Spain’s most rainy region!). Sevilla: Bizets opera 'Carmen', Spain’s former capital of colonial politics, 2 World Exhibitions, famous fair of April (Feria de Abril). Tarifa: the paradise for surfers with view to Africa, mile long sand dunes.
Ski:
Just 2 hours away are the Spain’s world-famous ski tracks of Sierra Nevada at Granada, venue of the Alpine World Championships in 1996.
Golf:
The Costa del Sol is also well-known as the 'Costa del Golf'. During the whole year golfers of all the world –from beginners to professionals - enjoy the sunny days on Europe’s most numerous selection of golf courses: more than 50 Greens! Right in front of the house is the new golf course “Doña Julia' (18-holes), and just a swing away the club 'La Duquesa Golf', right next to the sport harbour. On the opposite side is the course of the Estepona Golf. Besides the high concentration of golf courses in Marbella you can also visit Spain’s most famous golf „Valderama“ which is located 20 minutes away (by car) towards Gibraltar. Venue of Volvo- Open and of the legendary Ryder- Cup.
