Ii nido is a 400 year old, lovely equipped stone house and was stylishly renovated. On the ground floor you will find a small living room as a guest room with a pullout couch; the kitchen with a dining corner and the restored, beautifully furnished arched cellar with a double bed. On the 1st floor you will find a large, high living room with an open fireplace, the bedroom and the bathroom with a shower, bidet and washing machine. A wood staircase leads up to the gallery. Here you will find a reading corner with a large window and a view of the olive groves. The access to the terrace is possible through the gallery. Bedsheets and towels are available in an adequate amount (no beach towels). Cleaning help can be ordered on request.

The village Moltedo is located 6 km from the coast and the picturesque city district of Porto Maurizio located on a hill. After the highway exit Imperia Ovest you will have a view of the picturesque silhouette with houses in different tones of pink. A small, dreamy harbour invites you with small beaches and restaurants to enjoy and relax. Well-kept, Italian cuisine can be found by the sea and in the countryside. On the way to Moltedo you will drive through Caramagna with different shopping facilities (bakery, small grocery stores, butcher, pharmacy, post office, Italian bars, large supermarket, which is also open on Sundays). There are regular bus connections from Moltedo to Imperia and back. In the district of Oneglia there is a large market every Wednesday and Saturday, in Porto Maurizio it is always on Thursday. A market visit is worth it on Saturday to Remo (20 km) - it is very inexpensive here.

Herrliche Tage in einem ligurischen Dorfhaus

Wir haben die Tage abseits vom Tourismus sehr genossen. Die herrlichen Abende auf dem Balkon, mit Blick ins Grüne und die ruhigen Nächte waren erholsam und gemütlich. Von Moltedo kann man in alle Richtungen Ausflüge unternehmen und auch das abendliche Bad im Meer bleibt unvergesslich. Das Haus ist sehr ansprechend eingerichtet und ausgestattet mit Allem, was man für einen gelungenen und unbeschwerten Urlaub benötigt.
Wir waren begeistert, dass es ein " italienisches " Rustico geblieben ist, denn das " deutsche " haben wir daheim. Die Nachbarschaft war ausgesprochen freundlich und wir werden noch lange an die Zeit im ligurischen Dorfhaus zurückdenken.
