Description of the way from the port of Lisbon: You have to fallow A1 to Porto. After approx. 2 km, you have to take A8 to Oeste / Ponte Vasco da Gama. Attention! After you turn right, you immediately have to turn left, heading A8 Oeste – Loures. Do not turn right, over the Vasco da Gama Bridge! You have to go through the tunnel; at the tunnel exit turn right on the A8 Oeste / Leiria / Torres Vedras. Stay on A8, drive by Torres Vedras, Bombaral, Obidos and Caldas da Rainha, til you reach the next drive to Tornada. Then leave the highway, turn right at the roundabout, heading Alcobaca. Drive through Tornada, then turn left 200 m after you exited the city, heading Salir do Porto - Chao da Parada. Chao. Go through Chao da Parada, and 300 m after you exit the town, turn left towards Bouro. After 800 m, you will see an indication plate and the drive to Casal do Pomar. The journey time is 60 minutes. By car via Salamanca/ Spain: Border crossing Vilar Formoso: From Vilar Formoso on the IP5, heading Guarda. Before Guarda, take A23 Lisbon, and at the end of the highway A23 on the A15, heading Caldas da Rainha. After the end of the highway A 15, take A8 heading Leiria, not Lisboa! Drive by Caldas da Rainha, up to the next drive Tornada. Leave the highway and at the roundabout turn right, heading Alcobaca. Drive through Tornada, and turn left after 200 m from the exit of the town, heading Salir do Porto - Chao da Parada. Drive through Chao da Parada, and after 300 m after Bouro, turn left. Then pass by Aveiro, Coimbra, Pombal, until the drive Leiria, Marinha Grande, Nazare. Drive round on the loader highway Leiria and then take A8, heading Lisboa. Stay on the A8, drive by Marinha Grande, Nazare until the point of payment and drive in Tornada. Leave the highway, turn right at the roundabout, heading Alcobaca, drive through Tornada, and after 200 m from the exit of the town, turn left, heading Salir do Porto - Chao da Parada. Drive through Chao da Parada, and in 300 m from the exit of the town turn left to Bouro. After 800 you will see an indication plate and the drive to Casal do Pomar. Have a good trip!
