In Bad Düben, where Napoleon stopped in 1813, there is a health center with Heide Spa. Not far away from Dübener Heide, there is Luther’s Stone, a place crossed by Martin Luther. Near Wittenberg, origin of Reformation, Luther brought in 1517 his 95 thesis to the Castle Church. Between 8.-10.06.2007, there is the City Festival, celebrating Luther’s wedding. The Wörlitzer Park, Dresden with Frauenkirche (part of UNESCO World Heritage) and Europe’s biggest tropical leisure time park in the biggest hall in the world (66000 m², 107 m high) are worth a day trip. Not far from Spreewald, there is UNESCO Bio-Nature Reserve(48800 ha), with 1550 km waterways. There are concerts in Agora Park, on the Pouch Peninsula (Splash Festival, 6.7.2007 Hip Hop Reggae), or in Ferropolis - City of Iron (Melt Festival ElectronicBeats, 13.-15.7.2007). In Eilenburg, Bergwitz Lake, in the water park Basso Bad, in Schmiedeberg and Bitterfeld by Goitzsche Lake with bike touring, you can bath, water ski and surf.
