Here you will find information about our 'villa las chicas' in Fuengirola, one of the most attractive and popular vacation regions on the Costa del Sol, a beautiful location, directly by the sea close to Marbella. From the Malaga airport to the villa, it is about a 15 minute drive The villa, which was built in a Catalan style, is in the middle of a large, tropical-Mediterranean garden that gives off an unforgettable ambiance with its many different types of trees from all over the world; just like the beautifully grown flower garden with oranges, mandarins, avocado and lemon trees that are carefully attended to by our gardener. Here are multiple patios and options for sitting, and also by the pool of course, which is checked for cleanliness multiple times a week. Fuengirola is a city full of life with a year-round, comprehensive offer of unlimited recreational activities.
Exclusive stores:
Exclusive stores and many 'traditional' Andalusian locals around the beach promenade are within reach and invite you to stroll around. A lot of bars, discos and dancing locals for all age groups provide for a lot of variety.
You can participate in many sports directly in the city like golf, diving, water skiing, bungy-jumping and horseback riding. You can also take superb walks around the back-country which is found right in front of our doors. We have it all, surrounded by mountains, sea and a lot of nature at the nearby nature reserve.
Nearby there is a very famous stable with a selection of excellent horses for which our city is famous for. Romantic horse drawn carriages and an 'excursion train' that goes straight through the city, show you the beautiful, lively city.
Particpate actively in the cultural life:
Fuengirola has an excellent infrastructure and holds itself to sophisticated demands. Many large, modern shopping and recreational centers invite you to go shopping with an extraordinary offer of variety. Cheap shopping facilities like 'Lidl' are also in the city.
There are also multiple attractive markets weekly, like the popular fruit and vegetable market, the fishing market directly by the harbor and the extremely diverse, large flea market in our city. All markets are active during the summer and winter.
There is also a lot of entertainment for little kids by the beach, like carousels, go cart tracks, pony rides, fun fairs, trampolines and a lot of more.
Highlights:
An absolute golf mecca, a lot of Andalusian festivals, bull fights, close to excursion destinations like Mijas, Ronda, Granada, Marbella and Gibraltar. Pure culture in Andalusian!
Ski:
You can go skiing from November to April in the 'Sierra Nevada'!
The 'Sierra Nevada', an extraordinary region with guaranteed snow with a lot of slopes (also night runs), is about 1.5 hours from our villa. You can go swimming in the sea during these months or go skiing in the 'Sierra Nevada'. Everything possible is close by!
Golf:
The following golf courses are extremely close and open year round
5 minute drive to the 'Mijas-Golf' course 2 x 18 holes,
10 minute drive to the 'La Cala Golf' course 3 x 18 holes,
10 minutes to the 'Alhaurin' course 18 holes.
We also have an extraordinarily mild climate during the winter months from November to March with a temperature of about 20 - 24 degrees +. This time of the year is very popular with our golfers.
