House above the most beautiful place on Costa Brava, Dali's adopted home and inspiration. Beautiful and personally furnished for max. 6 people, 120 m² living space, 30 m² terrace and 2 wind-protected patios, on a quiet hillside, three-stories, with a beautiful rare view of the Cadaques bay and the entire town. The house's furnishings has a Catalanian flair with modern details. The bedrooms and bathrooms are on the ground and top floor. On the middle floor, there is a 40 m² living room with seating, fireplace, dining table for 6 people and open kitchen, separated by a bar.

Cadaques is a picturesque fishing village on Costa Brava near the French border, where the foothills of the Pyrenees fall into the Mediterranean. It can be reached from the north via Llanca along the coastal road or via the Rosas mountains. Thanks to this location, it is off the beaten track of the tourist centres of Costa Brava with their multi-storey buildings and hotel monstrosities, and is thus able to maintain its original character. Salvador Dali's home can be visited in Port Lligat, and Dali's theatre museum in Figueras. The area offers not only many water sport activities, but also hiking trails with good trail signs along the Costa Brava or at the edge of the Pyrenees for hikers. Local sporting activities: Relaxing, eating, snorkelling, swimming, hiking, sailing, cycling, fishing, surfing, water skiing, mountain biking and diving.

Dieses wunderschöne, geschmackvoll eingerichtete Haus hat unseren 3-wöchigen Urlaub wirklich zu einem Erlebnis gemacht. Wir waren absolut begeistert und werden ganz sicher wiederkommen! Der Blick von der Terrasse ist unübertrefflich und die langen Abende bei gutem Wein und lecker Essen werden uns lange in Erinnerung bleiben. Der Ort ist wirklich bezaubernd und hat das gewisse Etwas, was einem an so vielen anderen Ferienorten abgeht. Das Wasser ist glasklar, und war trotz grosser Hitze angenehm kühl. Badeschuhe sind allerdings zu empfehlen! Einziger klitzekleiner Nachteil: Man ist wirklich auf ein Auto angewiesen, um die Einkäufe nach oben zu schaffen. Der Fussmarsch ist allerdings gut für die schlanke Linie nach all den Leckereien, die es in den vielen netten Restaurants gibt. Danke Stephan für den tollen Tip des "Casa Nun".

Gut eingerichtetes, geräumiges Ferienhaus mit sehr holpriger Anfahrt. Da Schlafräume im Untergeschoss, viele Ameisen, die schon täglich lästig wurden.
Owner's Response: Komisch, wir machen dort seit 12 Jahren Urlaub, und haben noch nie Probleme mit Ameisen gehabt. Tut uns leid!
