Photos and Description of this San Martino in Freddana holiday apartment Quiet site, 10 km from Lucca, large garden, swimming pool, tennis court

Villa Torre degli Onesti was originally built around 1500 and carefully restored in 1990. It is set in a beautiful hillside position, 1 km above the village of San Martino in Freddana, 15 min from Lucca and 30 min from the coast at Viareggio. Our guests have a swimming pool, tennis court, table tennis and garden furniture at their disposal. Children are welcome and will enjoy running about in the large garden. There are different apartments in the Villa and others in rural side buildings. The apartments differ in number of bedrooms and sleeps. Interior design and furnishing are all the same. The holiday house Maria has its own little garden and terrace, the apartment Elena an own covered terrace. Weekly prices include the final cleaning and, in case of stays of more than one week, a weekly in between cleaning with change of bed linen and towels. Pets are welcome and pay 50 Euros a week. Other extras are heating (which you will hardly ever need) and use of washing machine (4 Euros).

Our Villa is 1 km above the village of San Martino in Freddana and belongs to the area of the nature reserve Alpi Apuane. We are 10 km from Lucca, on the provincial round SP 1 towards Camaiore. Pisa and Florence (airports) are 35 and 80 km away, Viareggio on the Thyrrhenian coast 25 km. In San Martino there are a supermarket, a grocery, a bar, a bakery, a butcher´s, a post office, a branch of Banca Toscana (with bancomat), two physicians, a farmacy, a hairdresser, a car-repair garage and other business. Good choice of pizzerias and restaurants within a few km.

Unser zweiwöchiger Urlaub war wunderbar. Bei unserer Ankunft stellten wir fest, dass alles noch schöner war, als wir es uns mittels der Angaben im Inserat vorgestellt hatten. Haus, Garten, Pool, alles war sehr gepflegt. Unser Haus, die Casa Maria, war sehr gut ausgestattet und gut für eine vierköpfige Familie geeignet. Im dazugehörigen kleinen Garten konnten wir in der Sonne frühstücken. Im Wohn-/Küchenbereich stehen ein Tisch mit vier Stühlen und ein Sofa. Das war zuweilen etwas beschränkt, d. h. so richtig gemütlich konnte man es sich dort nicht machen. Dafür entschädigten aber der herrliche Blick aus dem Schlafzimmer und die gesamte Atmosphäre des Hauses und des Anwesens. Der Tennisplatz ist gut bespielbar. Außerdem gibt es noch eine Tischtennisplatte. Die Betreuung vor Ort war sehr gut, auf Nachfragen gab es Informationen und Unterstützung z. B. bei Platzreservierungen im Restaurant. Wir würden Torre degli Onesti jederzeit und uneingeschränkt empfehlen und auch selber noch einmal dort Urlaub machen.

Die Ausstattung und Lage waren genau so wie im Inserat beschrieben. Die Ferienwohnung war sauber und wir fühlten uns sofort in der sehr geraümigen Wohnung wohl.Die Wohnung Angelica hat zwei Badezimmer, zwei Schlafzimmer und einen zusätzlichen Aufenthaltsraum mit weiteren Schlafmöglichkeiten und Fernseher. Diese Wohnung war genau das richtige für unsere Familie (2 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder). Die Wohnung können wir jederzeit weiterempfehlen.Der Pool hat uns auch sehr gut gefallen, da er über ein kleines Sprungbrett verfügt.
Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich und gab gute Tipps für Restaurants,Einkaufmöglichkeiten und Ausflüge.
