St. Romain-en-Viennois is in a very scenic area near the old Roman town of Vaison-la-Romaine and the climbing and hiking districts of Mt. Ventoux and the Dentelles de Montmirail (Lace Peaks). The Baronnies are less well known but very appealing. There are lots of tiny Provencal towns, deep chasms and passes and plateaus with wonderful views. There will be no other tourists on this tour. We’ll be happy to help you plan it. The well-known vine-growing districts of the Rhône valleys like Chateauneuf-du-Pape and Vacqueyras are not far away. Trips to Avignon or Arles will show you what town life is like here. And if you just want to take a day off from all of this, just relax in the garden beside the pool or beside a nearby mountain stream or lake or go to the Mediterranean for a day, e.g. to Le Grau-de-Roi.

Immer wieder Provence

Zum vierten Mal haben wir in dieser gepflegten Wohnung einen erholsamen und interessanten Urlaub verbracht. Die deutschsprechenden Vermieter konnten uns trotzdem noch mit neuen Ausflugstipps und Sehenswürdigkeiten überraschen. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig mit einer herrlichen Aussicht. Die sehr gepflegt Poolanlage lädt zum Relaxen und Nichtstun ein. Die Umgebung ist ideal für Wanderungen, Bergwanderungen, Radfahrurlaub und Freeclimbing. Die bekannten Sehenswürdigkeiten der Provence können in entspannten Tagesausflügen besucht werden.
Wir kommen mit Sicherheit wieder, auch um einmal den Schnee auf dem Mont Ventoux und den herrlichen Frühling in der Provence zu genießen.
Owner's Response: Es ist immer angenehm feststellen zu können, wie reizvoll und welche Anziehungskraft unsere sonnige Provence fördert.Jeder kann auf seine Rechnung kommen und den geplanten Urlaubziel volkommen zu verwirklichen.
Jede Jahreszeit bietet etwas anderes,die herrliche Blütezeit im Frühling gefolgt von den sonnigen Tage des Sommers und dessen Badelust, der leuchtende Herbst mit seinen prächtigen Farben und zum lezt der milde Winter ist wohl nicht der lezte mit seiner Einladung, sanft und unbekümmert an langen Abende am Kaminfeuer zu sitzen...Wer will der Nächste sein einen Aufenthalt in unserer Provence zu erleben ?

Die sehr nette Vermieter sind immer hilfsbereit besonders um reichlich Information spenden ( Sehenswürdigkeiten, Ausflüge...)
Die Wohnung selbst besitzt alle Annehmlichkeiten um einen erholsamen Urlaub geniessen zu können.
Angenehm und erfrischend der Pool wo 4 Personen baden können, nennenswert die schöne Aussicht auf das Dorf von Saint-Romain...
Weiterhin, bietet das reizende Umland viele Möglichkeiten zum Radsport !
Wirklich es lohnt sich die Provence zu erkunden

Urlaub in der Provence

Mit Hilfe der sehr netten, kontaktfreudigen und deutsprechenden Vermieter erlebten wir einen erholsamen und unvergeßlichen Urlaub.

Le Claux liegt in einer sehr ruhigen und reizvollen Landschaft und ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für vielfältige Unternehmungen, wie z.B.

* Besuch der Römerstadt Vaison la Romaine,
* Ausflüge nach dem Mont Ventoux, zur Gorges de Nesque, Gordes, Roussillon und zur Mittelmeerküste,
* Kultur in Avignon und Abtei Senanque,
* Wandern zu Les Dentelles de Montmirail.


Besondere Reize dieser Zeit sind die blühenden Lavendel- und Sonnenblumenfelder und die goldgelben Aprikosenplantagen.

Die im provenzalischen Stil eingerichtete Ferienwohnung und Insidertipps der Vermieter zu heimischen Produkten sowie die sehr gepflegte Pool-Anlage trugen besonders zum Wohlfühlen und einer guten Erholung bei.

Es hat und super gut gefallen, ein herzliches Dankeschön an Gaby und Jeannette und wir sehen uns bestimmt einmal wieder.

Radsport-Ferien am Fuss des Mont Ventoux

Zu zweit verbrachten wir Radsportferien in der kleinen, praktischen, gut ausgerüsteten und gemütlichen Wohnung. Diese ist günstig gelegen (2 km bis Vaison-la-Romaine) und ermöglichte uns auch eine Anreise ohne Auto (mit dem Zug bis Orange). Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett, hilfsbereit und kennen einige Insidertipps.
Owner's Response: Ja wirklich wir hatten viel Spass uns mit unseren sportlischen Urlauber zu unterhalten und bewunderten dessen Ausdauer und immer guter Laune.

Die Provence - immer eine Reise wert

Sehr nette Gastgeber, schöne Gegend, günstige Lage und eine gut eingerichtete Ferienwohnung - in der Summe eine gelungene Urlaubswoche! Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist in Ordnung.
Hervorzuheben sei hier das Engagement der Gastgeber, die immer einen Rat zur Hand hatten. Le Claux ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für vielfältige Ausflüge in die reizvolle Landschaft der Provence. Eine Woche ist zu wenig um die Gegend zu erschließen. Würden gerne wieder einmal dort zu Gast sein. Es hat uns sehr gefallen.
