Stylishly designed vacation house in a rural area with 2 bedrooms and its own patio. There is a pond with a large group of seats made of massive pieces of wood found in the inner courtyard of the building complex. The apartment is comprehensively equipped, including a dishwasher, a large refrigerator, stove with oven, water cooker, coffee machine, living room with a sleeper couch and a group of seats with a large dinner table. Color television with digital-SAT-receiver, W-Lan and a lot more are available in the house.

The 6,500 m² property is located on the beautiful mountainside with a view above the Berzdorf Lake all the way to the Polish and Czech Iser-Karkonosze. During the winter, the sun shines directly onto the Schneekoppe (Snow Mountain). Distances to locations in the surrounding area are: 12 minutes to Görlitz, 20 minutes to the Königshain mountains, 40 minutes to Zittau/Zittauer mountains, 60 minutes to Dresden and 60 minutes to Liberec 90 minutes to Schneekoppe and 2.25 hours to Prague (168 km).

Life in Jauernick: Currently, about 470 residents live in Jauernick-Buschbach. That is 20 time more than at the time of the change (1990). The lowest amount of residents recorded was about 425 during 1993 and 1994. The district is following the general trend of the large Markersdorf community with its again increasing number of residents. Since the 90s, more than 30 new one-family homes have been built in Jauernick-Buschbach; the majority of them throughout Lückenbebauung and 13 on the small location of Wisenmühlweg. Since November 1990, the Emersacker community from Bayern has become our partner community - we have annual meetings with them. Did you already know that the watershed between the Baltic Sea and the North Sea runs through Jauernick-Buschbach? Here you can also find what is suspected to be the first church of Upper Lusatia.

Events: The marriage market takes place annually in Jauernick-Buschbach for Ascension.

The sea: If there is good weather, you can see out over the valley from our property and you will see Lake Berzdorf and have wonderful views of the Iser, Karkonosze and Zittauer mountains. They belong to Poland and the Czech Republic. Lake Berzdorf will be flooded until its final completion (estimated to be in 2009) and will have a size of almost 10 km². It will have a similar shape and depth like the famous Tegernsee, it will still be somewhat bigger though; the water is supposed to be considerably warmer during the summer (22° - 24°C). The wind conditions are excellent for sailing and surf sports. Sailing has been allowed since August 2007.

Ski: Not yet well known: due to the eastern location (crossing over to a central climate), there are excellent snow conditions in the Karkonosze Mountains - often snow depths of even 3 meters. The descents are partially very challenging and are equipped with modern lift facilities.

Golf: The 18 hole golf course is under construction.

Wir hatten uns in der Ferienwohnung ausgesprochen wohl gefühlt. Alles vorhanden inkl. schnellem Internet.
Die Landschaften (Zittauer Gebirge, Iser- u. Riesengebirge sind ausgesprochen abwechslungsreich, Görlitz ist die schönste Stadt, die wir in den letzten Jahre gesehen haben.
Wir werden wieder kommen!
