We were very pleased at the size of this apartment - it was huge! Very well appointed and maintained. The very large shower area was a delight to use, and there were lovely towels and bed linen.The beautiful terrace had the most fantastic views aross the valley, with a range of comfy outdoor chairs to use.. We had a good 5 day stay here, and made use of the free train travel opportunities for tourists. Local swimming pools offered very cheap rates with excellent facilities The location at the top of a steep hill made us use the car to go 'down' and park before walking round the very pretty traditional German town. Also the steep steps from the house parking spot down to the apartment may be difficult for less fit people to manage.
The owners were very friendly and helpful and tried their English on us - the first English people to stay there.
We really enjoyed staying here and would recommend it to friends who may wish to visit the Black Forest. Thank you.
